The Wilson Challenge II is a great shoe. Constructed for durability and stability, this shoe is the near pinnacle of perfection. This shoe contains Wilson DST O2 Heel technology, providing a comfortable yet supportive heel structure for your feet. Also included is the forefoot cushion core which allows improved protection for your toes against toe drag. Around this shoe a soft full grain leather stable wrap offers support and gives the shoe a sleek appearance. Other components included are extended TPU heel and arch bridge, a high end abrasive toe guard, and a variable lacing eye-stay.
On court the Challenger II offers great stability and comfort. While chasing down those difficult shots, the Challenger II felt great. Lateral movement and sudden stops were no problem as the Challenger II had great traction on all court surfaces. The DST O2 consists of resilient TPR spheres combined with air for light weight shock absorption in the heel. The instance you put these shoes on, this system becomes evident, as jump smashing and the force of concrete on your feet are instantly dampened. On the outside of the shoe, is the Duralast Supreme Outsole which provides great resistance and traction on the court for precision footwork.
All in all, the Challenger II is a great shoe for any tennis player wishing to take their game on the run. It feels great and is very durable. I recommend this shoe for any player who wants that extra performance without sacrificing comfort and stability. |
