Tecnifibre has been the official stringer of Roland Garros since 1986, as well as numerous other ATP and professional level tournaments. Tecnifibre strings provide a variety of different types of strings, including synthetic gut, multifilament strings, and polyester strings. Their high tech polyester string, Tecnifibre Pro Red Code, is used by various ATP professionals. Tecnifibre strings use their patented manufacturing process that reinforces their strings with a Thermoplastic Elastomer Solution (or Polyurethane). This results in a string that offers a feel similar to natural gut and provides additional comfort.
