Luxilon 4G 125MM/16L Tennis String
Description
Some of the most buzzed about string on the market, Luxilon 4G is noticeably different from its polyester predecessors in that it has a cushioned feel on impact. There’s no “poly jolt”, and your body will feel happier after hours of play than with most other similar strings. The power level is slightly lower than previous generations, which should aid 4G’s target player.
Luxilon 4G seems to be very well developed to aid the power and spin focused modern game. If you want to flatten the ball, you can swing away and control your depth quite easily. If you want to hit with topspin, your low to high acceleration can easily create a troublesome, high-kicking ball for your opponent.
Also, if you find yourself cutting out poly strings due to tension loss, you will love the fact that Luxilon 4g boasts 30 percent improved tension maintenance over strings like RPM Blast and even Luxilon ALU Power.

luxilon tennis racket strings

I have tried many strings and always end up coming back to luxilon. I am so glad they are offering a few different colors. The only thing I would change is more colors offered in the strings

I absolutely love this string. I read many reviews before commiting to buy them. One of my concerns was being under power. I found out that I dont need to produce any power than what Im use to in order to get my ground strokes close to the base line. The striing is also forgiving, many strokes I think will go out stay in and with great spin. I play almost everyday and I trained aggresively with the ball machine. The string has hold its tension very well, better than other polys I have used. This string is my favorite one! 4.0 level player

Finally!!

Ok, this review could be a bit premature but I just played for 2 hours with these new strings in my Wilson Juice 100 racquet strung at 50#. these strings are virtually as soft as Babolat Xcel or Wilson NXT Tour on my arm while maintaining stability and positioning and no visible wear. i could only get about 6-8 hours of play from the multi-filament strings before they would break, and, not being a pro and receiving free strings, I just could not afford restringing my racquet every week. Luxilon 4G to the rescue!! Serves were sharp, good spin and I could flaten a serve out for good power. Control was superb on volleys. Unless something happens to change my opinion, I highly recommend these strings to anyone who hits hard with spin and needs a both durable and comfortable string!

Finally I m at the destination

i have been started string adventure since 2 years before,
solinco, signumpro, cyberflash, alu power, gosen, price.
which is lookin for my style,,,
this string is final destination string so far.
power and control is excellent and also felt more arm friendly than alu power. the most impression is when i check the strin tension a month later with MRT machine, just lost 1 lb. suprised durability.

This string is phenomenal. I used it with my Head Microgel and it was the perfect fit. It did a really good job maintaining my high tension without much movement. Im usually a string breaker, but stringer breaker I am no more with this string. I would recommend this string for anyone!

I break strings way more often than I care to pay to restring them, and for a while Id been using prince problend which lasted way longer but felt like hitting the ball with a board and wasnt very comfortable on my elbow either. These strings last just as long but have way more feel and comfort. Have lasted a month plus with little loss of tension and hitting 5-6 x per week. Plus it came with a free luxilon tshirt when I ordered through tennis express!

My son is a USTA junior player, playing tennis 4~5 days/week and 2~3 hours/day. We tried Luxilon 4G for more than 6 months and found that 4G has similar power to but much better tension maintenance than Alu Power, Alu Power Rough, and Original.

My favorite Luxilon string to date. I am a 4.0 player that hits both topspin and slice. I have found you lose a little power with this type string, but the 4G has a softer feel than their other string offerings of similar gauge. I also get better control.

Had this strung by TE at 55# while I waited bc I was from out of town!! Great customer service. This string fits my game. Good control, with good ball pocketing. Lets you generate your own power which I like. Spin is moderate. I use a 95 sq. in head with a 16x18 pattern so string wasnt too stiff. But the key to this string is what it is marketed for and that is tension maintenance. It is superior in this area. Will have no problem using this product again.

Although these string are priced slightly high for a polyester string, it is worth it! The strings do not die as quickly as other polyester strings and maintain their tensions a lot longer. Definitely worth a try!

I cant give a really negative or positive review since I had to stop playing them after 1 session. My arm got so sore! I would hybrid them if you get these. I cant speak to the strengths since I didnt have them long enough to see tension results, but they had a lot less soon than Im used to as well.
