LUXILON Big Banger Original Rough 16 String

Original rough was the first Luxilon string I had ever purchased and it improved my game significantly. Shots that were normally a foot out were always hitting the lines or just inside. Im a heavy hitter that wants a bit more bite and touch/feel from a good poly. This was my answer and Ive tried others and wouldnt trade this string for anything. I use a hybrid of Babolat Syn Gut 16 and this and its been one great combo in my racquet Babolat Pure Drive Cortex +. The tension holds thru 2-3 weeks of heavy hitting and I dont get the fraying we all hate!

I have been using Luxilon Big Banger Original Rough 16 for more than one year because it is great string for spin and control. In term of durability, I would rate it low. I play 5-time a week each time 1.5 to 2.0 hour, and I have to replace the string every two week. It is becoming costly!

Love the string, adds great spin and control. However I string my raquets extremely tight and with this string, strung that tight Im haveing some arm problems. I will try it again at a lower tension and see what happens.

Let me first state that these are great strings and get amazing spin and very good control. String these at 50 - 55 pounds for more spin and a little extra pop. The only downside to this type of Luxilon string (Orginial Rough) is that it's difficult to find in large reels, and it becomes very expensive when just buying sets good for one racquet. Overall, great strings, just like most Luxilon strings.

I have used many brands of string for the past 10 years. For the past 3 years, my daughter and I have used Luxilon Big Banger Original, and we have been very happy. String provides greater spin, control, and it's durable.

GREAT STRINGS. THEY LAST FOREVER AND NEVER MOVE. DO NOT STRING TOO TIGHT OR YOUR ARM WILL FEEL IT. YOU MUST GENERATE YOUR OWN POWER WITH THIS STRING.

Excellent string and excellent durability. A little harsh when volleying and can be harsh on the hand and wrists. Excellent spin and power potential.
