LUXILON Savage Black 127 16G Tennis String

These are my favorite strings because it is durable and provides great topspin and control. I still get great pop in a flat serve.

This is the best poly string I have played. The feel is enhanced greatly over others, at least for me. I have much greater touch overall compared to Babolat Pro Hurricane or RPM Blast, which Ive used for several years, and the spin is similar. The Luxilon Savage string is not quite as durable as the Babolat, but then again, sometimes the Babolat was so durable that Id have to cut it out before it broke. When the Luxilon is dead, youll know it and youll break it shortly thereafter. Overall Luxilon Savage is probably slightly more durable than the average synthetic gut with great touch and spin. Im a fan.

I had been playing with RPM Blast 17 gauge but my coach suggested I try this string. I love it and my opponents hate it. I am getting tons of spin and easy power from my Prestige MP. It also seems to be holding tension better than RMP Blast. Great string! Top marks all around.

Purchased for my 14 year old grandson, and he loves them. Lots of spin and control. However, the Lime green set lasted about 5 hours playing time and the Black lasted about twice as long. Luxion needs to make in a 15 gauge or do something to enhance durability.P Jones

Ive used the Luxilon Big Banger, RPM Blast, and Adrenaline strings. Personally, I feel like the Savage is the BEST!!! Its doesnt kill my elbow like the Big Banger does and I feel like I get more power/spin with the Savage than the Adrenaline. The RPM blast was just dull to me. Im only using Luxilon Savage from now on.

I got these string yesterday and played with them and i loved it I got great spin and my serves where better with the new string.

The Savage Black looks awesome, plays very soft and does not tangle, and produces great spin. Glad I bought these stings!

These are some of the softest poly strings I have used, from the first string I put threw a gromet to the first hit on the ball. Not as much spin as the RPM but the softer feel gives more control.

I really liked the way this string helps produce some topspin & grabs on a short chop volley. Looks very sleek also on my K-zen racquet.

Using in a Yonex Vcore 98 at 51 lbs. Ive been very pleased with this polymer strings performance so far. Does seem to work and bite into the ball for good spin, and has proven to be stable when hitting / returning hard shots. Great durability as would be expected of a poly, and does not move at all during hitting. Not as harsh as some other polys, but still a stiff poly feel that seems to worsen around the 15 hour mark of hitting.

A very nice co-poly string, soft, responsive feeling poly that I prefer over RPM Blast, but ALU is still my favorite!

I got this string strung on my Wilson Blx Blade Tour at 57 lbs. I had been using the Babolat RPM Blast 16 and Luxilon ALU Power Rough 16. I will say that the string ranks between RPM Blast and ALU Rough. It generates an ample amount of spin, but I was not feeling the ball bite as I had felt with ALU Rough. It is a step above the RPM Blast. My racquet is an 18x20 string pattern, so ball bite may not be like a 16x19 pattern racquet. Overall, it's a good string with great spin potential.
