Luxilon has improved the most popular synthetic string on the professional tour with the introduction of Luxilon Big Banger ALU Power Fluoro. By decreasing the string diameter down to 1.23mm and adding a special fluorocarbon mixture during the extrusion process, Luxilon has created a string with the properties of the original ALU Power, but with a softer feel and more power. Big Banger ALU Power Fluoro retains the tension maintenance, durability and spin potential of the original, while making the ALU Power line more accessible with the introduction of a softer playing string. The additional comfort will be appreciated by those that need the durability of a polyester string but may not care for the stiffer feel of most poly. The co-poly construction with aluminum continues the pattern of increased playability and better tension maintenance over first generation polyester strings. Also available in 720 foot reels of Luxilon Big Banger ALU Power Fluoro.
Construction: Extruded polyester monofilament

I do stringing for several people and several of them like this string so I have it on hand.

This is a great string. I use it in the crosses with Tecnifibre X-One Biphase 16 in the mains. I use a Pro Staff 95, which is head light and has little power. So I need the Biphase to up the power level. If I played with a 100 sq. in. racquet, I would use this Luxilon string in the mains and crosses and have done so in the past with a different frame. But with this setup, Im able to get lots of control, lots of spin, more than enough power, and I never have arm issues. I break the Biphase at around 7-10 weeks. There is no issue with breaking the Fluro in the crosses. And while they perform really well, it would be time to cut them out at 7-10 weeks even if the Biphase didnt break.

I have used power fluoro several times in the past. Recently I developed tennis elbow, so I had to change my string setup. Went with natural gut mains, and power fluoro crosses. U talking about a soft but lively feeling string bed. And access to as much power as u need. If you tend to hit long this setup isnt for u, but for the flatter hitting players, u must try. I strung mine in a Dunlop M3.0, gut at 57 power fluoro at 54.
Luxilon Alu Power Fluoro

Ive played with the Alu Power series for a long time and love how it holds my game down well. I strung the Fluoro a little higher than midrange this time round, and the first few games felt like I was hitting a cardboard. Definitely needed to wait for a drop in tension for it to be perfect. I definitely like the Fluoro a little better than the Alu Rough. Will try the Luxilon 4G next.
Get it at strung at 55
User: Spencer Redman, Texas
I had gotten my strings strung at 57 and they had more pop than they do now but not nearly as much power. The tension is about 55 now and it feels amazing! I had gotten this one because I didnt want to have the arm pain like the luxilon Alu power could give you. This one creates great topspin and power. I suggest to get this string If you want a softer feel on your arm but without giving up power and spin.
Power and spin

Great string! Good control and power when flattening out a ground stroke, also offers great spin and feel. Pop on serves and stick on volleys. I havent found any issues with this string.

I've broken strings for the better part of my tennis career. And It's always bugged me having to shuffle strings back into place between points. These strings have remedied all my problems. They are easy on the arm, I have yet to break a set after over a month of playing, and they never move out of place. I wont be experimenting with strings ever again!!
Great String For Agressive Players Seeking a High performance string with a softer feel
User: Rene Ornes, TX
My string of choice in my Wilson Juice 100. String retains tension well and remains playable for a good long while. I love the added pop, the lively response, the great spin potential, and excellent control without the soreness Id get from other strings. Id recommend this to string to anybody!

I was having arm problems with my old racket and strings so l asked around and luxilon kept coming up in conversation. I bought the power fluoros and must say I am impressed. No more arm problems easy access to spin and control. I also like the fact that these strings dont move so much. I have had problems in the past breaking strings but even though these are 17 gauge I have yet to break them. This is saying a lot for me! You will not be disappointed if you use these as your primary string or crosses with another. They are strong yet soft on the arm!

I recently switched to these from the Prince Beast and noticed a great deal of difference. They are really forgiving and still has plenty of spin. They maintain their tension and also give you the power you need to win!

Durable. Excellent bite. Soft on arm- much less stiff than other Lux strings. Great value.
Best of all

This is amazing stuff. Power and control is great. I had tennis elbow and was a bit scared to try this string, but all my fears were gone in a few minutes of trying this amazing string.
Big Banger ALU Power Fluoro Strings
User: Erick, Montana
I just-turned 4-0 and had been using Ace/supersense hybrids. I can appreciate the better feel of the ALU power fluoro and have more control. I find it more difficult to notice a difference in pop. Overall, I like the change.
User: Steve, IL
This string is powerful and comfortable. I call it a super string. I have used both Ace 18 and ALU Power Rough 16L, and this one is by far the best. 4.5 level.
