PRINCE EXO3 Hornet 100 Tennis Racquet

When I purchased this racket, I had nothing but good and happy thoughts and I was right. Everything was perfect to me and the racket looked great. However when I went to go hit for the very first time, the butt of the racket started making a rattling noise. In fear that something was broken, I took all the grips off and started to investigate what was going on. It turned out the staples that kept the butt cap was the reason why it was making this odd sound. I took out all the staples and used epoxy glue. Now the rattling noise is gone and I can hit with it like any other racket. The racket was a bit light compared to my Prince o3 red so I added lead tape on the head and on the grip. Ive gotten tons of compliments for owning this racket. The racket comes with a very nice bag that is apparently hard to find in stores. Id recommend this racket to anyone who would like to play with a fast and powerful weapon.

As a beginner player, this racquet has been great. Lots of control and power.

I always loved Prince rackets but could never find a good fit so I played with a Wilson. This one fits the bill. Its light and comfortable with a big sweet spot.

I recently retired my much loved Wilons Hyper Hammer 6.3 Mid-Plus racquests and purchased the EXO3 Hornet 100 given its similar specs for balance, weight and flex. The Hornet is very reasonably priced. The Hornet has taken some time to adjust to its slightly higher power level. But after working through the transition period, Ive come to really like the Hornet. Great spin potential on topspin shots and great kick on kick serves. Excellent spin and penetration on slice backhands. Very good power and consistency on flat serves. Very comfortable on the arm and shoulder. Nice feel on touch shots. Very maneuverable at net with pop when sticking a volley. One the first stringing I went with the mid-point of 58 lbs. Ive since increased tension by 1 pound and like the additional control. Overall, an excellent racquet at a great price.

Fantastic racquet. Great value for the price. Comfortable and competitive. Tennis elbow is gone and entire game is improved. Highly recommend.

I have two of these, they have good power and control, I use Signum Pro Plasma strings on them and they feel very good.

I switched to this racquet after using a 112 sq inch head size stick for four years. This smaller, heavier racquet provides great comfort, feel and control during baseline rallies and at the net. The only problem is that the smaller sweet spot is more difficult to work with as compared to a bigger head size. All in all, a great, relatively inexpensive racquet.

Overall, it is a great racquet. It is lite and comes with the sweet spot expansion technology, which allows you to have a more dynamic game.
