PRINCE O3 Red MP Prestrung Tennis Racquets

This is my third O3 Red from Prince and Tennis Express. I really appreciate both the feel and the pop I can get with this racket. Im a mid-level player, but I play three or four times a week, so a comfortable, playable racket is important to me. With this racket purchase, I reduced the grip size, which has made a big difference in the racket head speed that I can generate. Id recommend that any player who isnt confident that shes selecting the right size grip order the smallest size that might be right and build the grip up, if the one ordered proves to be too small. With the proper grip size, Im happier than ever with my Red. Ill be coming back to Tennis Express for another one soon!

Im replacing some old Prince Triple Threat Stealth OS. This apprx the same weight w/ a smaller head and shorter length. At first the racket felt a little light to me since my prev. rackets were head heavy. After getting used to it, I am liking it quite a bit. I dont mind the dampened feel because thats the feel i like. The faster through the air is noticeable as I seem to feel like I can take faster swing. Not really sure if it is because head light in ref to previous racket or airodynamics of o ports. I was looking for more control than my powerful os racket and this is much better. Im not putting any lead tape on it yet, just see if i can get used to the lighter weight feel. I am a 4.0-4.5 player and this is working out well. Nice space age look for a racket. Depth on groundies is good and volleys are solid, serves are also good. I get good spin, I use semi-western forehand, continental everything else. My tennis express experience was exellent. I have been very pleased with my 03 Red. I like it so much that I purchased a second one as a backup. The racket has plenty of power, but does not lack in control. I have good control with volleys, ground strokes and overheads. I have been playing for 2 1/2 years. I am a 3.5 on my way to a 4.0. My first racket was an 03 Blue. The O3 Red offers more control without giving up too much power. It seems to be fairly arm friendly. I play with Tecifiber Black Code 18g Or Solinco Barb Wire 17g at 62lb. For the money it is a great racket.

I love this racquet!!! Ive been playing with it since it first came out which was about 10 years ago. Its balanced with just the right feel. Im on my 3rd one they wear through at the large holes at the top of the frame from scrapping on the court for low balls. Its the kind of racquet that once I pick it up I forget about it. Ive never once missed a shot and looked at my racquet thinking it didnt feel right.

Great racquet, little stiff, nice spin.

I love this racquet and of the many I have tried since my beloved speedport red was discontinued, it is the most similar in feel. The 03 gives a little more pop than my old speedport, probably due to the fact that the strings that came with it were not quite as tight as I would like.
