PRO KENNEX Ionic Ki 20 Red Racquets

After a 20 year hiatus from tennis, I decided to jump back in to the swing of things. The last racquet I purchased was a Head from 1990 something. My husband has always played with Kennex since the 80s and he ordered me one to demo along with a Prince and, my favorite, a Head. I really liked the way the Prince and Head performed and I was perfectly happy ordering one of those, however, I thought Id better give the Kennex a shot since my husband ordered it and all. I LOVED it!! It gave me the power I was looking for without sending the ball over the fence. It feels awesome and the sweet spot is easy to hit. Six months ago, I was probably a 2.5. Since getting my new racquet, Im a pretty solid 3.5. Its a great racquet for those looking to improve their control without sacrificing power.

This is a great racquet! I also own the previous gold racquet. Having had problems with my elbow in the past, I ordered these on the advice of a friend and have been very satisfied - no problems since. I highly recommend this racquet for anyone who has had tennis elbow.

The Ki20 I purchased on 8/19 lasted about 1 month although I used it only twice in that period. When I took it from my bag on 9/17 I found that a lower quarter between 3 o'clock and 5 o'clock was caved in. The wall thickness where the racquet failed looked really thin. I don't mistreat my racquets - this racquet must have been defective.
