BABOLAT Pure Drive Roddick GT Plus Tennis Racquets

I had the older version of PureDrive Roddick. I tried the Pure Drive GT+ and the new version of Roddick raquet. This one promotes good control at the baseline. Babolat generally dont need long swing to manage the ball like ex. Head. Although of be more stiff and heavier than the Pure Drive I chose this one.

If you want a powerful racket for serves and backline volleys the Pure Drive is it. If you have a weak swing get something else. This racket responds with power. Use Luxilon strings to get the best top spin control. The + provides a bit more room on double handed backhand shots.

I used to only use Head racquets. I took a chance on this racquet. It came in today, and I had to go test it out. From the first swing, I fell in love with it. Awesome feel to it especially in the serves. This is a must have!

I hate to write a review because I don't want everyone to buy this racquet! It is simply awesome! 1st and 2nd serves are smashing. I have corrected so many things my coach wanted me to work on. The feel, comfort, and control I have with this racquet made it worth every penny. I have many racquets, but this is the one I am going to use to compete with this year and hopefully pay for college. Thanks TE for the demo option.

I love this racquet! My game has improved since I started using it after just a short adjustment period. I will recommend this racquet and Tennis Express to everyone.

I got one for demo from Tennis Express and I loved the performance. I purchased one yesterday from my local tennis shop. I got RPM Blast 17g @ 58lbs strung on and it has amazing control, and lots of spin. I actually had to decrease the amount of spin just to get it deeper. The racket will work for you if you allow it to. I hightly recommend this racket to anyone looking for both balanced power and control. Serving with it is amazing by the way.

I have never even touched a real Babolat before today. It was simply amazing. Explosive power, good spin, lots of control. I couldnt really ask for more.

I originally play with the K and Blx six.one tour. A friend gave me a go on his roddick plus and just feel in love with its power and control. If im losing with the Wilsons then i just swap to the roddick plus and melt the ball past my opponents.

I just played with my Babolat Roddick GT Plus and it didnt take long to get used to the 27.5 in length! I just have to adjust my timing a little. I believe this is even better than the regular length stick! Serves were very accurate and powerful, as well as groundstrokes. Again, the biggest surprise was how stable backhand slices and volleys are! You may give upa little feel compared to the Wilson 6.1 90, but overall, a much more forgiving and powerful stick! After 20 years of playing with my trusty POG 90, this new Babolat is simply amazing. I can hit winners all day!

all i can say is that i love this racquet. using this racquet i have become so much better using this racquet it has a good blend of power and control and is good on serves. recommend to everyone

I demod Babolat Roddick GT and it is an awesome frame! I was shocked at how crisp backhand slices and volley were. I thought I would never switch from my trusty Prince Graphite 90, but this stick is better is every way! Bigger sweet-spot and more powerful ground-strokes-even on the run. I can hit winners from everywhere. Serves are more powerful. This is a very stable racquet and designed for better players who generate a lot of power. I am going to buy 2 racquets since I was totally convinced from the first minute hitting with it. I also tried the previous model and simply did not like it. Babolat must have redesigned everything while keeping the cortex system. And they did it with the most bealtiful color/graphics of any racquet out there! Its like driving a sky blue Audi A4 turbo quatro with white racing stripes! I am now a big fan of Babolat...

I just bought this racquet, after using the previous Andy Roddick model. I've only used it a few times, but I do think I like this one better, and it was a very easy switch. It took literally no time to get used to the new racquet. The racquet seems to hit very cleanly.
