The Babolat Pure Drive Roddick is part Andy Roddicks official racquet line released during the 2006 Australian Open. The Pure Drive Roddick offers all the power and versatility of the original Pure Drive, but with even greater performance capabilities due to some tweaks. The Pure Drive Roddick is a bit more powerful and stable than the other Pure Drives, while being heavier and stiffer. At the baseline and the net, the Pure Drive Roddick offers a solid feel on ball impact and manevuerability for more control. The Babolat Pure Drive Roddick tennis racquet also features two of Babolats most popular technologies: the Cortex System and Woofer technology. The Cortex System filters out vibrations which interfere with feel, in order to enhance the feel of the ball. The Woofer technology featured on this racquet acts as an absorption device. Pistons on the side of the frame act as suspension absorbing shock and unwanted vibrations. Players with a moderate to fast swing speed will find that the Babolat Pure Drive Roddick will give their shots extra power and pop along with a comfortable feel.
