BABOLAT AeroPro Drive Cortex Tennis Racquets

I have been buying rackets for twenty five years, and none of them have given me the power and control of my new Babolat racket. There is a significant difference between the Babolat and my previous two racket purchases. I could not be more pleased. It was also my first purchase through Tennis Express. Overall it was a very positive experience.

this is the best racket ive used i got it about a week ago you get heaps of spin from the aeromodular technology and it feels great

It has great power and an amazing sound when ever you hit the ball. I definately recommend this racket!

The promo failed to mention that this racket has incredible feel around the net. I just played in a doubles tournament with other pros in the area, and I was serving and volleying probably better than I ever have. Of course, this racket has great control, and you can generate tons of spin from the baseline as well.

This racket is good for groundstrokes, much better if you use topspin since the racket was designed to be swung in a "windshield" motion. The cortex system does dampen, but I still require the use of a shock dampener to almost completely reduce the shock. Serve on this stick is fair, you're able to produce nice spin and kick serves. If it's power you're looking for, I suggest you look into the Pure Drive. Volleys feel solid, and return of serves are a sinch with this one. Overall, a great job by Babolat.

The raquet is good overall, but it is way to light. If you like heavy raquets, this is defilnitoly not a raquet for you. In my opinion, I want a new raquet, not one that is a year old when i first get it. Otherwise this is a great rauquet.

This is a really good racquet. It is great on groundstrokes, serves, and volleys. Only thing is that the cortex system is a bit exaggerated so I personally use a small dampener. Not too big of a problem though. Swing speed is unprecedented on groundstrokes and serves, and volleys pack punch. This raquet has pure drive power and K6-One Tour control(which is why Nadal uses it). Definitly a must buy, or at least a must demo.

...I wish. The raquet feels smooth and solid, and because of the way it is designed the racquet gives great swing speed. I think that helps to give more spin, not sure. All I know is that I received more spin, which was awesome! There is a reason the #1 in the world is playing with this racquet. And the racquet is yellow, how can you go wrong with yellow? Viva RAFA!
