The AeroPro Drive Plus Cortex from Babolat is an update to an existing classic, the AeroPro Drive Plus. In Babolat's constant technological pursuit to provide players with a greater amount of comfort and feel, they 've combined the excellent playing characteristics of their Drive series of racquets with their new technology called the Cortex System. The Cortex system filters out harmful vibrations that may cause tennis elbow without sacrificing the excellent feel and control that has made Babolat a world power in tennis equipment. The AeroPro Drive Plus Cortex also has the Woofer technology, pistons on the side of the frame that absorb unwanted vibrations that could potentially hurt the player over time.
We recommend the AeroPro Drive Plus Cortex for NTRP rating 4.0 and above (advanced intermediates) to touring professionals. The weight is not excessive and, just like the other racquets in the AeroPro range, the AeroPro Drive Plus Cortex will have a strong appeal to people of all ages from younger juniors to adult players. The Babolat AeroPro Drive Plus Cortex will provide more leverage on the serve and more reach while sacrificing maneuverability compared to the standard Babolat AeroPro Drive Cortex. Players with a medium to full swing who are looking to add spin to their shots with a longer reach will find the AeroPro Drive Cortex Plus to their liking.
