DUNLOP Aerogel Smoke Tennis Racquets

I picked up 3 of these and have been playing with them for about 6 months now. The stiffness and power is passable for baseline play, but I was having issues generating a sufficient amount of power after coming from an old Hammer 6.2 Stretch on volleys and off-center ground strokes. Adding some lead tape to the 12 oclock position changed the head-light racket feel to something more hefty and helped address these issues. Feel is good for a 100 sq.in. racket.

I ordered this racquet not long ago and played my first full match with it today. Overall, I would say this is pretty decent product from Dunlop. The first thing that I noted about this racquet was the thickness of the frame. Though the racquet is no more than 100 sq in and 10.5 ounces, it has a very strudy feel which I liked. I also loved the 16 x 19 string pattern which provided me with some excellent spin. On groundstrokes this racquet provided tremendous pop and at first I was spraying my shots long. However, once I got used to the racquet I found I was able to hit with a lot of control. Aside from groundstrokes, this racquet also provided lots of feel and manuverability on volleys and serves. Overall good product and I am very satisfied.

The racquet's perfomance was poor. It was pretty light making for a great net racquet but had little power when playing off of the net. Returning serves was difficult. The racquet broke after a few months while returning a ball. Save your money.
