These shoes have the torsion system, adiprene heel insert, and adiprene+ in the forefoot. The Torsion system is found in the midsole for better surface adaptation and stability. The AdiPRENE insert in heel for comfort and shock absorption, while AdiPRENE+ offeres full-length forefoot cushioning. best tennis shoes we have ever tried

These are the best tennis shoes we have ever tried for my son. he usually burns through a pair of shoes about every three months, but these look like they will last at least twice that. They look great, perform great, he says they feel great and the appear to wear the best of any shoe that we have ever tried.

The shoes look awesome. I have already gotten so many comments. On to the technical side. Adidas keeps on improving the Barricade line. These are tougher/more durable than the V, but lighter like the II, III. The only minor issue is the shoe stiffness. They dont mold into your feet right away, and do take a week or so to break in. Id give it a 4 1/2 stars Tennis Express doesnt allow 1/2 star.

The Adidas Barricade 6.0 is an excellent competition shoe for the competitive player USTA rating 4.0 and above, who expects a shoe that is light, durable, and with strong arch support for enabling quick court movement. The criticism Ive heard about this shoe is that its a little stiffer than some others, and this can put extra pressure on certain parts of the foot. But its exactly this rigidity that makes the shoe so attractive for match play. The rubber is a little harder and tougher, so the shoe holds up longer than most. But even more important, the tougher rubber provides the structural support that prevents arch and other foot problems when making really fast direction changes. I personally alternate this shoe with other brands so that I alleviate the soreness that may accumulate from the pressure points of any one shoe. But for the serious matches, this is the go-to shoe of choice!
