Liquidmetal material is applied to four strategic areas of the racquet´s head and it is the only material that utilizes all the energy your swing generates. No energy is lost on ball impact due to its liquid atomic structure.
The Head Liquidmetal 4 is the ultimate blend of power and control. Perfectly balanced midplus racquet, and its the ideal racquet for players with a moderate swing style. Total sweetsport construction for more stability and a total sweetspot. The Liquidmetal technology is a dampening system consisting of a newly developed memory foam integrated into the racquet handle. NoShox Technology significantly reduces the Liquidmetal 4s vibrations by more than 27 % compared to conventional racquets.
This racquet comes pre-strung with Head Synthetic Gut 16g (White) at 57lbs. It does not come with a cover.

I bought this as an upgrade to a Wilson I have had for years. It is light, powerful and very maneuverable for a slightly head heavy stick. Very good feel and almost no vibration. Excellent on serves and overheads A real beast from the back court. If one is looking for a great value and performance for an all court intermediate player, you can stop right there and buy this racquet. I plan on buying another matching one very shortly before spring season begins.

I am very happy with my purchase at tennis express. It was very easy to order and the product was everything I hope for. Thanks.

The racket took a lot of getting used to die to the weight increase. The strings that came in the racket were very hard on my arm but It improved greatly when I restrung it. I have more control but a little Less power but I am still getting used to it.

too light for me

was not the right racquet for me.
Good Racquet Overall
User: Frank Deamato, CA
My 2nd Head Racquet . The wider beam gives it a solid feel at ball contact and the mid plus size makes it light and maneuverable. Has as much or more power than the oversize Wilson I had been using, Overall well worth the price!

This was a Xmas present. They played and said that it was not as good as they expected.
All Time Great!
User: Vel Alahan, HI
Great Racquet. Need one say more. Even though it is an older make. It is available at a fair price and is a very playable racquet for all levels of players. Very good looking. Plays like a Babolat Pure Drive series which is the racquet I also use. I purchased this for a student of mine that needed to upgrade from old hand me downs.

Bought this racquet for my 13 year old boy who has just started middle school tennis. The weight is just right and he loves it.
Liquid metal 4
User: Mark Aulabaugh, WV
My 10 yr old broke strings on his junior racquet as he developed power in his forehand. We decided to go with the liquid metal 4. My son loves this racquet and we have seen improvement in confidence, power and control. I have also played with the racquet and find it to be a very solid racquet and would recommend.
Lightweight Racket with Good Power/Control
User: William Wilson, NC
Its lightweight, easy to use, and offers a good balance of power/control. Be weary though, I find myself hitting more shots past the baseline if Im not careful. Overall I like the racquet a lot and its a great improvement over my last racquet.
Liquidmetal 4 Prestrung Tennis Racquets by HEAD
User: April, NC
Daughter loved the racquet. She couldnt wait to get out on the court to use. Most of the girls on the team this year returned with the HEAD racquet and have talked about how this racquet is an upgrade to previous years racquet.
User: Katie Wood, South Carolina
The racket is very light making it very easy to have a good swing. Love it.
User: John Luc, VA
I just play with this racquet for several times, but the racquet just unbelievable. I recommend for those wanting more control in the game.
User: Maryann Schelin, Ma
This is a great racquet. I have have been playing 40 years and recommend tennis express for quality products and prompt service
User: Joe Vongvorachoti, NY
Extremely light for a racquet at about 260 grams. However, since it is so light, when you hit the ball a little off center, it is not quite stable and the racquet quivers. It also sounds weird when you hit the ball - hard to describe.
User: David Arnold, Alabama
I really enjoy this racquet Im 51 yrs old and play a couple times a week. Good racquet for the money

User: Dominick Bucca, Tennessee
I was a little hesitant about buying a Head racquet, due to the fact I have always used Wilson but my overall experience with this Head racquet is excellent , it gives you that certain power that I notice that Wilson racquet doesnt seem to give .
