A great choice for the aggressive player who likes to hit a heavy ball with plenty of spin, the Wilson K Factor KPro Open from Wilsons K Factor family offers explosive power combined with a stable feel and enhanced maneuverability for big hitters looking to push around their opponents. The 10.6 oz unstrung weight gives the player a lightweight frame which enables them to generate a serious dose of pace. The Karophite Black from Wilson is present all around the frame, making it stronger and more stable than other racquets.
The 16x19 string pattern surprisingly allowed for excellent response on all divisions of the court. Our team found that with the KPro Open, they were able to really place the ball with almost perfect accuracy. Above the service line, they noted that the Open allowed for a crisp and solid feel which in turn enabled them to confidently execute their volleys. Overall, the KPro Open is a must have in every aggressive players arsenal.
So yeah, this racquet feels and plays almost exactly like the Babolat Pure Drive. The only difference I've noticed is the fact that this racquet has more stability and all shots feel solid...that is why I prefer this frame over the pure drive. Although, he are almost identical, there is a slight difference, so if you liked this racquet or the pure drive I would definately reccommend trying out the other one.

The Wilson (k)Pro Open is a very nice and fun racquet to play with! Power is good, but not great. One feel that you can swing away without the fear of the ball sailing long. Serving is totally cool and consistent. Volleys, and half-volleys are are easy to do. Creating spins is not a problem with this one.
I would like to make a point. Don't get all caught up on the BLX hype. The BLX version of this one has IDENTICAL specs as the (k)Pro Open. the only difference is that the BLX has a swingweight of 318kg*sq.cm, while the (k)Pro Open is 307kg*sq.cm. Add 6 grams of lead to the top part of the head and there you go! I don't see any reason to pay $180.00 for this racquet because it has a new paint job. Volcanic Basalt? Please spare me! Go ahead and get this one for $139.00 Well worth the price!!
