Read a Full Review of the Babolat AeroPro Drive Cortex Racquet from Rackets411.com

The Babolat AeroPro Drive Cortex, the racquet of choice for Rafael Nadal , is an updated version from the classic AeroPro Drive. In Babolat's constant technological pursuit to provide players with an even greater amount of comfort and feel, they have combined the excellent playing characteristics of the drive series racquets with their new technology called the Cortex System. The Cortex Technology filters out harmful vibrations that may contribute to tennis elbow without sacrificing the excellent feel and control that has made Babolat a world power in tennis equipment. The Woofer technology adds pistons to the frame that act as suspension to decrease the amount of shock that could potentially hurt the player. Like the earlier version, the AeroPro Drive Cortex features the same AeroModular technology that allows for a more aerodynamic frame to increase headspeed and further increasing the power and control permitted to the user.

We recommend the Babolat AeroPro Drive Cortex for NTRP rating 4.0 and above (advanced or intermediates to touring professionals). The weight is not excessive and, just like the other racquets in the Drive Z Series, the AeroPro Drive Cortex tennis racquet will have a strong appeal to people of all ages, from younger juniors to adult players. The AeroPro Drive Cortex Plus (or extended) version, which is 0.5 inches longer than the standard version, allows for greater leverage on the serve and reach.
