Previously known as a brand strictly for runners, New Balance is branching out - and they're bringing tennis star Milos Raonic along for the ride. The top 20 player recently signed a multi-year, multi-million dollar deal to represent the company's tennis clothing and shoe line. After donning Lacoste gear and apparel for the first several years of his career, the 22-year-old will now become the first player to wear the New Balance brand on the court. In fact, the apparel is currently custom made specially for Canadian star. No doubt New Balance is hoping Raonic will continue his rise into the top 10 and beyond. |

So what will Raonic be wearing? We’ll have to wait a bit to get our hands on his geometrically-inspired clothing, but his shoes are a different story. Raonic is showcasing the eye-catching New Balance men’s 966 D Width shoe in Australia. An update to the 851, the 966 has a neon green NDure cage across the upper portion for added durability. The midsole includes ProBank stability technology ideal for lateral movements on the court, while a herringbone tread pattern is perfect for multiple surfaces. If you’re a fan of more subtle coloring make sure you check out the other 966 models available. |
