Tour Bite Vs Pro Hurrican Tour
User: Ed Chun, CA
Bought a set to try and the Tour Bite did not get the same spin as the Pro Hurricane Tour
User: Bill Vinh, Texas
For a player looking for something with a bit more spin and grip, this string did not disappoint. The price is very affordable for a very good string.
Soft version is better

Tried the Tour Bite 17g at 54 lbs in my Wilson 105 non S version. Had to order from Europe. The string broke very quickly. Probably after about 3 hours of play. My usual choice is the Tour Bite Soft 17g string. It lasts much longer like 3 weeks, and I hit 5 days a week. My review is a bit faulted as I only tried the regular tour bite once. So I am not giving it a fair chance on durability. I just havent tried it again since the soft version is back in stock.

Didnt do a lot for my game but the service was excellent.

I love this string. I have not used it with a full bed, but I use it with hybrid. Great sping and I like how crips it feels. I dont like things to feel to springy. This string has always been at the top of my listing and I think you will be happy with it too. I use 17g.

I really like the performance, lots of spin and bite. It lets you do to the ball what ypu want . Deep, angled, high and heavy, fast drives and even slices. The secret that most people dont get is that this stings work better at lower tensions. I know that tension is a personal matter, but lowering the tension scares most players and feel that it is gonna fly on them so the string at the same tension without experimenting. I used to string my racquets with synthetic in the 90,s at 58 lbs but know with this strings i have been lowering until i found that 42 - 44 pounds gives me the best combination of power and control. My advantage is at i have my own stringing machine. I have try it twice and so far tension is holding on well. Balls that usually used to go out are staying in and is allowing me to swing all out and loose and trust my shots. My recommendation is to lower the tension by at least 10 -15 percent to start and work yourself down. If you check the tension the pros are using it

OK On A Budget

I thought I would try the Solinco Tour Bite as a replacement for the RPM Blast 17 string that I had been using on my K-Zen. The Tour Bite is cheaper than the RPM and had some good reviews on the website. Unfortunately my experience so far is that the Tour Bite is harder, less forgiving, and simply does not have the feel of the RPM. The spin generated is fine, but the control is not the same for me. Of course there are a number of variables. I had this strung at 55 and it may be that over time they will mellow out, but my take on these stings is that they are okay but inferior to the RPM blast and next time I will pay a little extra for what seems to be a better all around string.
Great performance - low durability

Ive been using Luxilon 4gs and ALU power. I wanted to try something new so I strung my racquets with Black Code and Tour Bite to test them side by side compared with my main racquet with 4gs. I loved Tour Bites spin and it was great, I was using it as my primary racquet for about 2 weeks. Right before our final district championship match it broke right at the sweet spot. So great spin, but it only lasted for 2 weeks before it broke. Im going to try it again to see if it was a fluke.
My Holy Grail.

These strings are perfect for anyone that hits with a lot of topspin or if they want add more topspin to their game. Ive been looking for some time now and Ive finally found my holy grail! I am so in love with these strings! They take a huge bite out of the ball and gives it an incredible amount spin. I can honestly say that I was an average player before and Im now a rockstar on the courts with the Tour bite 17g strings!

These are some great strings. I play for five days a week and in the 2 1/2 months Ive had them tour bite mains, black venom rough crosses, they havent lost their shape and still perform admirably. I recommend setting the tension a couple of pounds higher, though that might just a preference. Also, it needs needs a good shock absorber because its kind of tense. I plan on using them again.

Tremendous spin, crisp, good ball bite. what more can i say. this string is more durable than other high end polys out there. Try it. some like it some dont. i string it below mid tension and wow
Solinco Tour Bite 1.20 mm
User: Paul Margio, Texas
Ive tried all top rated strings, this is as good as ALU Power in the performance department and better in holding tension and durability. Typically I dont like shaped strings, but this one is a different story. This is not just another shaped string. Plenty of power, control and awesome spin, however unlike other shaped string you can flatten the ball out and hit deep when you need it. To top it off its less expensive than Luxilon. To me the key to this string is the correct tension. Some say its stiff, well its stiff if you string it higher than you should. Otherwise its nice and crisp and it wont hurt you. This string is a stand out for sure! Excellent work Solinco!
Solinco Tour Bite 17
User: James Roh, CA
I tried this string for the first time and extremly disappointed. This string has no bite, no spin and it felt extremly stiff. You may need to go down on the tension at least 5-7 lbs. I dont want to cut out a new string but this must go. What a bad string.

I'm using this string in my Volkl DNX V1's, strung at 55lbs. Plenty of power and amazing spin! I've used Luxilon ALU Spin in the past and this string performs even better.
User: stephe, texas
This string is great for ripping the ball with spin and power. It's almost like it gives the ball a hair cut. Great all around string. Must buy.
