The Yonex RQ racquet series offers racquets that appeal to a wide range of intermediate to advanced level players. The RQIS 1 Tour is a player's frame geared towards advanced players, while the RQIS 2 Tour is more of a tweener racquet for intermediate level players. Yonex RQ racquets are the choice of tour players Ana Ivanovic and Nicole Vaidisova.

 

Yonex RQ racquets make use of many Yonex technologies, including classic Yonex technologies such as Isometric and Elastic Ti, as well as newer ones such as Cup Stack Carbon Nanotube and Aero Box Variframe.

Cup Stack Carbon Nanotube improves on the design of convential carbon nanotubes. The standard cylindrical shape is strong and durable, but stiff. The innovative cup shape allows each cup to be flexible and move on impact, generating extra power and ball dwell time.

Aero Box Variframe creates a thicker frame in the head for more power and a thinner cross section in the shaft, reducing wind drag by up to 10%.
