TECNIFIBRE X-One Biphase 18g

Over priced, but decided to try since my shoulder was hurting. I am 69 yr old ,but strill try to hit with pace. Tried 2 sets. First set broke while stringing. Replaced by tennis Express. Tried as hybrid with poly. Poly cut thru biophase two sets. Did not play better than cheaper strings. Second set stung full biophase lasted four sets then broke early next time, not an off center hit. Comfortable and played well but not exceptional. Would not purchase again.

Am a 4.0 player and hit the ball hard. Racquet is 95 sq in stiff frame. Wanted to have one racquet for a tournament that I could change to from my Kevlar blends during the matches. This one lasted through the whole process. Used for 6 weeks before breaking. The spin level increase was immediately evident and was effective in matches requiring more feel. So, the string lasted for practice, two weeks, tourney used for two days, then 4 weeks of practice. Next I will use string a lings. Id say try it.

I really like the performance of Tecnifiber X-One Biphase 18g. But most of all I love the feel. I really feel I can hit any shot and especially my net game. Five stars! Confidence is everything in this game and I get it with Tecnifibre X-One Biphase 18g.

I have nothing wrong against this string. It has excellent playability but there are certain cons to the 18g factor. The string has lot of power and you may overcook the ball. It its thin and you can.feel that it can break right away. Would recommend a player to try one string and see how it feels.

Now I never was supposed to be a tennis player. Better a kid playing king of the hill with my short, stocky frame. But ever since putting these onto my Volkl V1s, my game changed. As did the feeling in my arm. This week I have gone from 55 to 59 on the racquets and again I feel like I am suddenly a more skilled player. The control and accuracy has my friends wondering what has happened and who is this guy!. I still see too much string movement due to the top spin I use, so the next stringing will be 60. These with the Volkl V1 OS racquets are the best.
