VOLKL Gripper 16g Tennis Strings 1.30mm

The reviews were bad on it so I went in with low expectations. In combination with the Delta Core London, this string is fantastic. Great precision, right amount of power and it has lasted about 10 hours so far. Usually all my strings break at around the 10-12 hour mark. It does feel softer than polys.

Not sure if it was the strings or the stringer or the temperature. Liked them up to the 3rd or 4th play, then they would not stay straight. I do usually use Volkl Cyclone and they dont move. I also use luxilon alu power rough. I feel like the gripper wasnt giving me the confidence on my top spin which I have much of...

I've always used Wilson strings, and thought I would give Volkl string a try since I use a Volkl racket. I bought a new classic v1 since they don't make my racket any more. I have to say the new string and the new racket are great. My friends told me that I'm hitting really well, and I feel that I've been playing well with it. My arm and shoulder feel great after playing for several hours, and it's cheaper than Wilson strings. I just hope the proshop that I go to has these strings when it comes time to restring.

I love the Volkl racquet, but I can't stand the strings. My other Volkl racquet is strung with different strings. I can't use this new racquet until I do something about restringing the racquet.
