Offering up incredible control without the weight, the Volkl Organix 10 295g features all of the comfort and feel of its heavier brother while supplying a quicker response around the court. Featuring the Organix technology, developed in cooperation with Fraunhofer Institute, which coats natural cellulose material with the DNX carbon nanotube material, the fusion of these two materials offers the unique characteristics of flexibility and strength, while dampening vibrational waves. The result is a racquet that remains comfortable without sacrificing stability. The Organix 10 295 features the same Optispot coloring scheme, which uses the fact that the eye is naturally drawn to color contrasts rather than a single flat color. The Organix frames all feature contrasting colors along the inside of the frame, training the players eye to focus on the center of the stringbed, resulting in more consistent contact with the sweetspot for optimal shotmaking. While the popular Sensor Tour handle system of the previous 10 series is gone, the new Bio Sensor system features the same concepts applied in skyscrapers to mitigate structural damage due to earthquakes. The weighted pin in the end of the handle acts as a mass dampener pendulum, which creates a vibrational wave counter to the incoming shock, decreasing the overall strength before it reaches the players arm. This moderate weight racquet requires a longer stroke to get maximum performance, making it perfect for aggressive all court players seeking exceptional control in a more nimble frame.
