VOLKL Organix 10 325G Tennis Racquet

Last July I purchased two Babolat Pure Storm Tour+ racquets and feel in love with the power and crisp control they offered but by December, I started experiencing considerable elbow pain using them. Realizing the PST+ had no active vibration design to prevent this, I went to Tennis Express to demo the Pro Kennex KI 5, the KI 5 PSE, Babolat PD Roddick & Organix 10 325g because the staff suggested those were good player racquets that were easy on the elbow. Being a long time Babolat user, I really thought I would come back around to the Cortex system which had been easy on my elbow in the past but I was blown away by how smooth, powerful and precise I felt with this Volkl racquet. My serves were well placed, with spin & movement or I could just blast away with a flat serve. I took big rips on both forehand and backhand 1 handed and no matter how hard I hit it, the ball just seems to stay on the court. I could not say that with the PDR. The precision of this stick is incredible.

I have played with several racquets, and only after a few hours of playing with this one, I fell in love! I was playing with a Head Speed Pro before this and was looking for a replacement with less vibration. A friend recommended the Volkl PB10 MP since I play with a similar racquet. I tried the PB10 and it felt so familiar to my Head Speed Pro. Another friend told me that if I liked the PB10, Id love the Organix 10. He was right!. The only difference between the two is that the string pattern on the Organix is open, meaning more spin and power potential, and that the string pattern on the PB10 Mid Plus is closed. The Organix reduces vibration so much better than the PB10 and my previous Head Speed Pro. I would say this is the perfect racquet, but the perfect racquet depends on your preference. The racquet is quite costly, so if you have the money you should get it, otherwise youd be better off with the PB10 or some other racquet.

After a few hours of hitting with this stick, I found that it is very similar to the Volkl PB10 Mid Plus. The only difference is that the string pattern on the Organix is 16x19, providing more spin and power potential, and that the string pattern on the PB10 Mid Plus is 18x20. Also, the Organix reduces the vibration better than the PB10. Not many people notice it, but the balance is slightly different for both sticks. Volleys are spectacular with this stick. You get a bit more spin in your serves. Overall, this racquet is very enjoyable to hit with. If you have the money, you should get this racquet. With the right form and technique, all your shots should be solid. If youre the type of person whos very picky and actually cares about the dampening difference, get the Organix. Otherwise, just buy the PB10 Mid Plus before they run out. Im still attached to my PB10, but soon itll be an alternate racquet.

I am a 15 year old high school varsity tennis player. Because I play so much, I need a racquet that wont kill my arms and provides the necessary power, especially for my one handed backhand. After being a long time Wilson fan, my coach had me try this racquet out. I LOVE IT! I have been using it for 6 months and my performance went way up, and my arms dont hurt anymore! Forget Wilson, Prince, and all the big name brands. Try this racquet with the Tecnifibre NRG and synthetic gut strings and it becomes the best racquet on the market. 5 stars everywhere

This racket recieves 5 stars. I used the volkl gripper 16g strings with it, a multifiber string bed. It didnt have much power, power gets a 3. Which is exactly what I wanted because I am a hard hitter! It was pretty soft, doesnt noticable hurt my arm but its stiff enough to have major control. This is definatly a pro racket with major control. I greatly recommend this racket to 4.5 players and up.

Ive demoed probably 25 rackets and I ended up buying two of these. Im not sure how the racket can be listed as having low power. I find the power level to be quite impressive actually, especially when compared to that of the Volkl PB 10 Mid. For me the decision was between the PB 10 Mid and this one. As compared to that racket the Organic 10 has slightly less manuverability due to the fact that it is 7 pts HL as opposed to 10 for. The increased size of the sweet spot and higher power level outweight the lower manuverability in my opinion.
