VOLKL Power Bridge V1 OS Tennis Racquets

The phone consultants at Tennis Express were very helpful in guiding me to a racquet that would increase the protection to my hitting shoulder. I had never even heard of the Volkl product line. However, at their recommendation, I purchased it and am very pleased. It has outperformed several other racquets I demoed from bigger name companies.

I broke the frame on my Volkl DNX V1 OS racquet and recently replaced it with the Power Bridge V1 OS with 17gauge Technifibre X-ONE string. Im very happy with this combination. I play 4.0 doubles and mixed doubles, and this racquet gives me a nice blend of control and power in an arm friendly racquet that isnt too light or too heavy. My tennis elbow injury has not flared since I switched to these Volkl racquets.

Im a -3.5 rated player and demoed several rackets before deciding on the oversized model of this racket. Since Ive started using it, Ive played 6 singles matches and have won all 6! Thats not typical for me. Maybe its extra confidence or maybe its the racket technology or maybe a little of both. Its forgiving on off-center hits and easily imposes topspin on the ball which has resulted in much more ball control/pace than Im used to.

For years I was married to my Wilson N code 3 rackets. After much trial and error, I found VOLKL racket. After some adjustment time, I love this racket. The racket is light and powerful, yet I still can maintain control. In all candor, my power game vanished after I hit my seventies, this Racket has allowed me to regain some power without losing control. Overall a great racket at a very fair price.
