VOLKL Powerbridge 1 Power Arm Tennis Racquets

Having not played tennis in over 20 years I was clueless on racquet technology. At my fathers urging I tried out 15 racquets via the demo program. I didnt want to love this Volkl because of the price but kept coming back to it. The head size was large, just what I need for my not so perfect technique. The racquet is extremely lightweight, perfect for my not so muscular arms. I still make errors on the court but not because of the racquet. The Power Bridge 1 is like a dream and well worth the price.

This is my second Volkl Powerbridge and I find it an excellent performing racquet. I am, however, not happy with the Volkl strings put in the racquet. They lasted less than a month. Normally my strings last over 6 months and I normally change them before they break.

My arm strength and mobility are not at all good. A friend of mine was having great success cutting the ball with a Volkl. I tried a demo, ended up purchasing the racquet, and I am thrilled with the revival of a decent competitive presence. The racquet is well balanced, it feels right in my hand, the shots go where I wish when I can get to them ;) The racquet has not yet cured my arthritic knee though. Thank you Tennis Express.

Light and powerful. Great defensive and offensive racquet that replaced my old Yonex. Looks like no other.
