The Quantum Scorcher from Volkl is the perfect tennis racquet for fast whiplike strokes. Thank to its open string pattern, you can definitely add plenty of spin to the tennis ball and still keep it in the courts with powerful shots. This lightweight racquet just at 9.4oz unstrung has plenty of shock control thanks to Volkls vibration control handle system. Great control and plenty of maneuverability in a lightweight racquet. We recommend this racket for 3.5+ players.
The lightweight build of the Quantum Scorcher offers a swift swing speed in a mid-plus frame to generate much needed spin as well as a nice blend of control to put away shots at the net and volley approaches.
