A solid string offering for all around performance or hybrid applications, Volkl Synthetic Gut 16 Crystal has the crispest feel of the nylon based strings in the Volkl lineup. The large central core gives a firm, comfortable feel and good repulsion while also maintaining tension for long longer lasting performance. Around the monofilament core of Synthetic Gut Crystal is a duraguard layer which limits friction and wear between the core and the softer outerwrap material. This helps to increase the durability of the string, while the single outerwrap layer gives the string better ball pocketing for greater feel and a bit of extra pop. On court this string is an excellent performer from all areas of the court and reacts well to any situation.
