A massive update to the popular SilverString, the new WeissCANNON Black5Edge 1.24 offers a number of incredible properties explaining why it receives such high praise. Building on the original chemical composition of SilverString, this string is reinforced with fluorcarbon elements and chemical additives so control the playing properties for maximum performance. Black5Edge 1.24 is extruded through a pentagonal dye and then surface treated to ensure consistent and sharp edges for easy spin generation. The surface treatment is designed to allow the strings to move across each other with minimal friction, which helps to generate additional spin and opens the stringbed for a bit of extra power as well. These surprisingly soft co-polyester strings also hold tension extremely well, ensuring maximum performance over the life of the string.
