this is a great raquet. very smooth and light. i only have one but i wish i had two i love it. no vibration its just great.

Great Racquet. I just received my second one in the mail. I researched racquets for probably 30+ hours and selected 4 racquets to demo. By far this was the best. Great control and with the right strings you can generate some good power. Over all, a great racquet!

Loving this racquet and what its done for my game. As a die-hard Head racquet fan of 7 years, I ordered this demo just to max my demo order to 4 racquets including Babolats and another Head. It was the last racquet I picked up to try out and its all-court versatility blew me away. The little extra weight suits my game perfectly, easily adds more spin, gives me sharp volleys and easy power on groundies. Best of all, I can now hit a nasty drop shot from behind the baseline. Love this baby, and it really responds to players who like to hit with pace, like a BMW that doesnt start to purr before 75mph! Its definitely a racquet for an aggressive player.

I absolutely love this racquet and would recommend it to anyone. In the two years that Ive had it, it has been incredible. definitely a good investment.

Purchased this racquet a month ago after five weeks of trying too many demos. However, this gave me a good base of other quality racquets from Babolat and Wilson to make a reasoned decision. If you gave me a Babolat Pure Drive GT in one hand and the BLX Pro Open in the other I could not tell them apart: weight, feel, power, balance, etc. Played with the racquet in two Colorado District tournaments and very pleased that I had this racquet in hand. One reason for a larger 100 sq. in. head was to soothe my tennis elbow: good decison since I have experienced much less pain, to the point I do not need a elbow support to play at this time.

This is my second BLX Pro Open. I have found it to be a terrific all around racquet with little vibration. My one criticism is that the head seems to wear away faster than I expected, perhaps from half-vollyeing on hard courts.

I found this frame to have just the right balance of stiffness, control, and feel for my game. I am an all court player, fairly flat hitter. I never really had much topspin on my forehand until this racket, and it loves the baseline. Once you dial in the feel for the amount of spin, most shots land deep and bounce high. I did add lead tape at 3 and 9 to give stability and plow through. I own two now and may get another in case they change it. I have them strung with Wilson NXT tour 17 at 57 pounds.

I checked out about ten different demo racquets at a local club. I quickly narrowed my selection down to this racket. It matched my power range, top spin and touch shots. It is lighter than my last racquet, so it has improved the jump on my serve. Great racquet!

This is my 2nd review of this racquet. On my 1st review I said that I added 7g of lead to the head and 3g of lead to the handle. This gave the racquet a bit more punch than I wanted, and made it less maneuvarable. So I flip flopped the weight. It now has 3g of lead @ the head, and 7g of lead @ the handle. It's much better!! It's now 8 to 10 pts HL with weight. Specs of a more traditional pro players frame. I still get plow thru because of the added weight, and increased maneuverability. I'm a 3.5 player and have the racquet strung with Wilson NXT 16 @ 58lbs.

It took me about 18 months to find you, Wilson BLX Pro Open, but I am delighted I did! After playing with stiffer racquets and more resilient racquets, the BLX Pro Open is the perfect compromise. As a leftie and a baseliner who also likes to rush the net, this stick has every shot covered. I string my BLX Pro Open at 57 lbs. with Babolat VS Gut and find hittng the ball as easy as spreading soft butter on hot toast.

I recently switched racquets to the blx pro open after demoing at least 5 racquets. Volleys are quick - spin production, feel, and power level are simply outstanding. I added 4 grams of lead to the tip and impoved plow thru. I am a 4.5 all court player.

I loved this racket! I liked the feel from the bass line, volleys, and saw that I could get a little more pop on the serve. I also liked the crisp feel on overheads. This racket isn't for everybody though. I recommend this racket for a player who dosen't want too much power on their shot but does want a good amount of spin and control. Overall: GREAT RACKET!

Very nice and user friendly racquet! Great for generating spins, good at the net, and for serving. A bit on the light side. I added 2g of lead at 3, and 9 o'clock for a total of 4g. Then I added 7g of lead to the handle. The extra mass makes a huge difference! HL, but with added power and still have control.

My first thing i noticed was how easy touch feel and power came with this raquet with the big head it is very easy to control wit i would rrecomend the raquet for agressive baseliners and serve and volleryers

I bought this one to update from my k Pro Open. This BLX version feels A LOT lighter than what it's 11.1 oz weight strung indicates. Also, it's not as powerful as the k Pro Open. Spins were good, but it was hard at times to hit groundies deep. Serves were ok, and net play was real good. But, I felt that this stick needed more weight, so I added 7g of lead tape to the head at 2/10 o'clock. Then, I added 3g of lead tape to the handle, and wrapped it with a white Gamma Supreme Overgrip(6g) So, all in all I added 16g of weight to the racquet, 10g from lead, and 6g from the overgrip. Now I have a racquet that's 4-5pts HL and weighting in at a solid 11.66oz. That's rock solid tournament weight. Believe me 16g of weight on this racquet is not a whole lot. You can still manuever the racquet, but the groundies are heavier, with spin, and landing deep! Serves have more speed and are heavier!. Volleys are hit deeper, and the frame just feels a lot more stable.

My first impression of this racquet was very positive and seemed to share many characteristics with the APD but, without the hollow Babolat feel. I found it easy to generate copious amounts of spin from both wings as well as on serve. I suggest experimenting with adding a bit of lead tape at the 3 & 9 positions which, will add a little more punch and increase court penetration. Overall, this a great all court racquet best suited for 3.5 players and up. The only thing I was not in love with was the bulkiness of the frame as I am used to hitting with a kBlade.
