WILSON Five BLX Tennis Racquet

My shoulder was aggravated by my service motion using an older model Wilson tennis racquet. In the past my old racquet was always reliable, but with age and a long passage of time without playing tennis, the racquet was too head heavy for me. The problem probably arose due to poor muscle conditioning at back and shoulders. I visited Tennis Express and described my physical discomfort and showed the staff my racquet. After demoing the new Wilson BLX and a few other brands, I chose the Wilson which has almost the same weight as the old one but is more evenly distributed. I have always preferred Wilson racquets throughout my 30 years of playing tennis. My new BLX had the same feel as the older model, but I am injury and pain free with this change.

This racket has been my favorite of all the rackets I have ever owned. It is incredibly light. It makes the game much easier.

I play in a college environment and recently picked up another Five BLX as my second racket. I prefer a larger head size and run 57-58lb tension with stock grips & Luxilon M2 Pro string. Some of my teammates laugh that Im using an over 100s frame size which is questionable in the competitive circuit but I am used to clay surfaces and am geared out for consistancy. This raquet offers me the 140 lb medium strength kid the pace that I need to keep up with 165 lb+ larger players and hold my own.

I love my new Five BLX racquet. Id been having elbow trouble off and on for a long time. Since I started playing with my new Five BLX, I have had no problems at all. The racquet feels good in my hand and is just the right weight. It may be my imagination, but I think Im getting more power out of it too. Maybe its just because Im not worried about my elbow acting up again.

I used this racquet when I first started to play and it was very good to start with. It had great control and was very light weight. As I got a little better, I now use something with a smaller head size. This is a great racqut to start off with

Great racquet for new player or beginners. This racquet has a bigger head size which makes it a lot more easier to stroke. Very light weight and offers a lot of control.

This is first time I switched from Stratus Three BLX to Five BLX. My game has improved a lot. I feel as if I have more control on ball. I am very satisfied with Five BLX. Last and not least, my serve has improved with this racquet too.

I am a beginner/intermediate player. I switched to the Five BLX racquet from the Coral Wave BLX. It has much more power and hits the ball very smoothly. I love the control that I get as well. The coral wave was head light and this racquet is head heavy, so that was a bit of an adjustment. Overall, I love the racquet and it has improved my tennis game.

I am 52 and weigh around 95 pounds. I am a highschool student switching from Prince White 100 to the Wilson BLX Five. When using the Prince White 100 during high school tennis practice and tournaments, I felt my arm vibrate while hitting with power. The Wilson BLX Five, on the other hand, had a much more fluid movement with little to no shock. The Wilson also gives me a more powerful, accurate shot. I felt with the Prince that I couldnt hit a powerful shot without it being way outside the court. Overall, I liked the Prince White 100 racquet but preferred the Wilson BLX Five. The BLX Five has a slightly larger head 103 to the Princes 100 and a little larger sweet spot and has the dampers built into the frame to help absorb shock. The BLX Five handle, I use a number 2 grip, is soft and comfortable. The Wilson has an unstrung weight of 9.3 to the Princes 10.4 unstrung weight.

Personally love it. Wilson did a good job on this racket. Increase the power and speed . Not hurting my wrist.
