WILSON NXT Tour 16 String

This is the first time I used this string. It has great feel. NIce amount of spin and touch from the back of the court and while volleying. Durability was approximately 3-4 weeks of 2-3 times of play a week.

I have an elbow and shoulder issue from my college days playing football. I am a 4.0 rated player who has been using several different poly strings in the past Hurricane, RPM, Black Widow but my elbow and shoulder have really been bothering me. I wanted a string that would be lively and not hurt my arm. I was pleasantly surprised when I went to the NXT Tour 16g string. It allows me to get good pop and my arm doesnt hurt at all after hours of play time.My strings do not last as long as the poly strings but I could care a less. My arm feels great, I have good control and spin on the ball, and I am able to hit to the baseline without much trouble at all. Im sold!

I previously used 17 gauge NXT Tour, but switched to 16. The strings dont move as much. And I cant tell much difference in playability. I put a lot of spin on the ball. I notice these strings last a lot longer. For me, it works. 4.0 M Playing three or four times a week.

It is way better than any string I have ever played, comfort control and still have a lot of power. It is alot better than exel premium. its true premium maltifeliment string, gut like. I will stick with it. whoever having problem with tenniss elbow shoulder hurt... go get NXT. I had it strung 57-58 lbs on a racq 50-60lbs specs.

Excellent strings. Tension stays relatively constant

For the last 7 years I had been playing with an NCode 4..95 sq in raquet with an Nxt tour 17 string.I had the raquets strung at 5o but had to work real hard to hit consistently with the small raquet..I now use the wilson cirrus 118 sq in raquet strung at 55 with the Nxt 16....The string is much better than the 17....I can now swing much easier and shorter and still get great pop on the ball with little effort.It is much easier on my arm and shoulder especially when serving....I LUV the string and the racquet...thank u tennis express....Dennis Blanchard

I recently purchased a Wilson Pro-Staff 6.1 100 racquet and needed strings for it. The Pro-Staff demo I tried had the NXT 16 gauge strings and a string damper. Wilson recommends this string for this model, so I decided to replicate the demo string set up for consistencies sake. I also kept the tension in the middle of the recommended range at 58 lbs. I am happy with the performance of the strings after 3 months. I feel the strings enhance the playability of the racquet, with both good feel and spin. I play twice a week on hard courts, both indoors and outside. The strings are starting to fray a little in the sweet spot. Tension seems to holding well. If you use the old rule of thumb of needing to re-string in a year equal to as many times as you play in a week, this would seem to be expected durability. I would use this string again in the future.

I love these strings. I would recommend them to anyone who has ever picked up a tennis racquet.

As a Christmas gift it wowed the receiver!

This string plays very close to natural gut for much less. I use this string in the mains for a hybrid setup and love the feel and performance I get from it.

As a 4.0–4.5 player, I have come to recognize the value in the subtle, yet important, aspects of the game. I am lucky enough to have found a string so beneficial to my game, I will no longer use any other. The NXT Tour 16 did the one thing I have dreamed of for so long. It gave my game consistency! I no longer say, “On a good day I play well.” I now say, “I’m a solid 4.0-4.5 player.” What a joy to not only say it, but to actually feel it. Thanks Wilson.

Ive played with a lot of different strings, mono, natural gut, mixtures, and the NXT gives me the best performance with the longest life for me I play 2-5 times a week and a set of NXTs will last me a month, where other strings only last 2-3 weeks at best. Great spin and control with these.

NXT Tour felt spectacular. A good pop with every shot. Durability is as expected from NXT, so if you're a frequent string popper, I'd try something different. I love these strings over all NXT lines.

Love all the NXT strings. Especially, the 16 gauge. It has control and power. It has great feel and definitely great absorption during impact.

This string saved my arm and lasted almost a month...and I'm a heavy hitter who plays 3-5 times a week for no less than 2 hours. The string starts to fray but thats normal I guess...

I currently use this string with my Wilson N1. It's a nice soft string, easy on the elbow. There is also plenty of power coming out of this string. Durability seems to be ok. I highly recommended.
