WILSON Sensation 16 String

My husband uses this product for his tennis racquet. It was actually what he was looking for. He has two racquets and wanted different string for each so we ordered two different kinds. Both were good and a great price.

When I bought my racquet this is the string that was on it. I had a string break they restrung with another type and I didnt like it at all. I wrote Wilson and they said this was the string my racquet was loaded with when new. This is what Ive bought since and I wont change. Great feel, not too tight, not too loose, just enough spin for me.

Great string especially for the price. Although it is not for everyone, in my opinion it works well if you are looking for a soft feel and have it strung at the right tension. Only down sides for me was that it moves around a lot if you put spin on your groundstrokes and looses tension fairly quickly depending on the conditions you play in. I have been a devoted Wilson Sensation user for well over a decade. From time to time, I will experiment with other latest and greatest. I always return to the string that provides an overall package that works best for my 4.5 game and coaching responsibilities: the bite on the ball stays true until noticeable wear indicates a need to change string; they are average in wear but less prone to popping than others; the string is easy on the joints and gives and absorbs on impact more so than other dynamic string..and it is a lively string that is tougher than some to control if using a large or wide-body frame. You can afford to go a little tighter on tension I have found on my old addition all orange mid-size Head Liquid Metals. Great string that will help provide some pop and some great feel and not stress-out the joints.

The wilson sensation 16 is the perfect string for me. They came with the racquet when I purchased it and when they broke another string was used to replace it. I did not like the others at all. I found out the original string was the ws 16 and have since purchase a few for future need and to replace the ones in my 2nd racquet. They have the right amount of strength and spin without being difficult to control.

I have these on my Babolat pure drive GT 100 and they seem to be doing very well. They have a nice mix of control and they are very easy on my arm. Spin is no problem. I am strung at 58lbs I have a longish swing so for me the power is fine plus there is enough pop for those hits where I cant wind up.
