WILSON Shock Shield 17G Tennis String

For players seeking maximum comfort, the new Wilson Shock Shield 17 offers additional spin and feel compared to the 16 gauge version. This string takes the ultra comfortable air-filled core to a whole new level. The addition of their IsoZorb material into the central core of the string results in a soft, plush response and cushioned feel. The IsoZorb material in Shock Shield is a polymer similar to the material used in skyscraper foundations to absorb the shock of an earthquake. The filled triangular core is surrounded by multifilament outerwraps, offering elasticity for both power and to reduce impact shock. Our testers felt that this was one of the softer strings they have tried and really enjoyed the power and large sweetspot.
