Wimbledon-The 2009 Official Film offers highlights from the most prestigious grass court championships along with exclusive contributions from Martina Navratilova, Pete Sampras, and Rod Laver. The 2009 tournament began with a stunning announcement from top seeded Rafael Nadal who withdrew before the tournament began to rest his knees. Roger Federer stepped onto the grass and played quite possibly the best tennis of his career, closing it off by winning a sixth Wimbledon crown in a 5 set match ending in a 16-14 final set tie-break score. The womens draw saw the Williams sisters battle into the finals to face each other where Serena triumphed over her sister Venus to hold the Wimbledon trophy for the third time in her career.
