YONEX EZONE Xi Tennis Racquet

It is difficult to improve on excellence, but the introduction of the Yonex EZONE Xi 100 tennis racquet does just that. An evolution of the former model, the EZONE Xi line stands for "Extra Isometric" which delivers an even more expanded sweet spot than the typical Yonex, offering increased forgiveness and power. The Quad Power System remains on the EZONE Xi 100 which takes advantage of variable thickness at the corners of the head for improved stiffness and repulsion. For improved comfort, NeoFade material, a dampening polymer, is present at the corner of the frame to reduce vibration. A completely new development, the SD (Shock Dampening) Grid is inserted into the handle of the frame between the tubes to limit shock from reaching the hand. A new throat shape, the new Oval Pressed Shaft (O.P.S) throat beam, introduces rounder corners for power while the wider face increases stability. Our testers found that this frame provided classic tweener performance with an even larger sweetspot and power without sacrificing control. One tester in particular enjoyed the high level of spin and power that he could get on ground strokes.
