YONEX VCORE Team Tennis Racquet

Bringing their newest stability and control technology to a new player base, the Yonex VCORE 98 Team is a unique racquet all its own. The new 3D Vector Shaft is designed with maximum performance in mind. The deeper grooves cut in the throat area effectively stiffen this key area of the frame, resulting in greater resistance to twisting, improving stability and control. The naming convention of this shaft technology is because the rigidity allows the player to control the ball in all aspects, angle, depth, and spin. While the frame is the same size as the 98D, this VCORE 98 Team is a very different playing frame thanks to its thicker beam and lighter weight. This control oriented all around frame provides ample power but focuses on control and forgiveness. The 16x20 string pattern provides excellent spin and a firmer feel for maximum precision.

In comparison to the other VCORE frames, it is important to note that this frame does not utilize the X-Fullerene material in the head.
