After extensive public testing, the Black Racquet is finally unveiled to reveal the Gamma RZR 98, created in cooperation with Black Racquet Labs, an independent research group. They were tasked with exploring racquet concepts in order to create the most aerodynamic frame, and they may have just done it. Every feature of the RZR 98 from the triangular beam shape, to the angled throat, to the flush-sitting bumper is designed to minimize air resistance. The constant width beam provides a predictable response for players looking for a control-oriented racquet with greater head speed for spin and power. Our testing staff felt that this frame offered plenty of access to spin for the right swing, but our flatter hitters did not notice as much difference.

A tennis express employee named Tyler recommended this racket for me, my first thought was, Gamma Judging from the specs on the racket, I knew I was going to be able to create some fantastic spin with the racket, my judgment was proven correct. If you are looking for a frame with easy access to spin, I HIGHLY recommend this racket. The feel is great as well. I actually used the racket over the weekend at a tournament I played in, my opponent felt the end of my massive kick serve do to the midplus frame plus the 16/18 pattern. There is also a lot of feel on volleys and it is rather maneuverable off the ground and at the net. The racket is light and can be customized with added led tape. I enjoyed playing with this racket a lot and think it is worth a demo.

A Surprising Frame
5/5
I was actually quite surprised by this stick. Sponsored player, but looking a bit. Six One Tour, hoping the PS95 would be something more than the huge disappointment that it turned out to be....I have to say, this frame, now siliconed and leaded to 12.1 still too light, actually has a somewhat BLX90 sort of feel to it and is the first frame Ive ever thought so. Hard to describe, but Id be willing to be that, specd out to my custom 6.1s 13.2, 12pts, it could feel remarkably similar. Off center is a slight bit wonky, but I think with some more tricks with lead, 12.8 or so, it will steady out to be a rather nice frame. Been trying quite a few frames. While I can play with anything, this frame I would compete with. If youre looking at Babs, I would take a close look here. Granted, not as cool when walking on the court, but...
