Little support for New Balance 806
My old 804 series tennis shoe is being phased out and I needed a shoe right away, so ordered the new 806. I depend on New Balance for their traditional great support features, especially for my flat feet. Im not extra picky, but NBs walking and tennis shoes are getting less and less arch support in every new model. Disappointing...had to return the 806 and settled for the less expensive 656. Tennis Express shipment and refund handling was excellent.

New Balance White Mens Tennis Shoe
I have some trouble fitting a high instep and foot a little wider across the balls of the foot than the medium D size on many brands. Prior to these New Balance shoes I did order a Reebok pair--I forget from which on-line company, and those simply did not fit in the crucial area. The New Balance, however, though it is tighter across there than the old Princes were and I have to wear thinner socks, do seem to be stretching sufficiently there to be comfortable. As for the rest, the support, the weight, and the appearance, they are fine. Cant yet speak to their endurance.

New Balance shoe purchase
I played tennis these shoes within two days after arrival and found them to be very comfortable. There was no break in period as with other shoes that I have purchased and the NB806 is very light on the feet, even after 2 1/2 hours of play.
I was very pleased with the quick shipment of my tennis shoes.
Shoes were as advertised and it was a very smooth transaction.
The last three pairs of tennis shoes I have purchased have been New Balance. Each pair has been very durable and comfortable. I am confident the next purchase will be a New Balance tennis shoe.
Got these shoes less than a month ago and already have a hole all the way through at the toe. Im a toe slider but I usually get 6-8 months out of my Prince and Addidas shoes. Either it is poor quality or New Balance doesnt understand how to make a shoe specifically for tennis. Money wasted but it wont happen again.
New Balance 806
The New Balance tennis shoes are comfortable, balanced and give good support while running around the tennis court. The shoes also have the classic tennis shoe look that can be worn in the neighborhood park or at the country club.
Good While They Last
These shoes provide excellent stability and cushioning for hard court play while they last. The outer sole wears quickly, however, and the advertised 12 month outer sole warranty appears to be worthless now as the result of newly adopted restrictions at NB.
Excellent product- Excellent service
I ordered these shoes to our Florida address and the shoes were there upon our arrival. Shipment was quick and all was as promised.
Difficult to find large shoes
I got these for my son in size 16. They are one of the few shoe types that run in this size. Hes on his fourth pair of these. They work well for his junior tennis and for everyday wear.
I wasnt too happy with Tennis express. Despite the website promise of order today, ships today, it wasnt shipped out until I called about 2 weeks after ordering to find out where they were. and yes they were in stock when I placed my order When I called, the phone person promised next day rush delivery but that was a lie. So I received them about 3 weeks after placing my order.
Still, since the size I need is hard to find, Im pretty much stuck getting them from whoever has them.
I love this shoe. Support is great. Balance of the shoe puts you on the balls of your feet naturally. Moving side to side is effortless and supportive. It is slightly heavier that the newer styles with mesh but its not noticeable to me. Also, I have no issue with it being too hot either. Fantastic shoe.

I have used this model NB for several years. I am not hard on shoes so these NB shoes last me at least a year. Great value for the money!! They are a winner.
THIS NOT MY 1ST PAIR OF THESE SHOES IT IS MY FIFTH PAIR OVER THE YEARS. i PLAY HARD COURT AND 4 AND 5 TIMES A WEEK. i NEED A SHOE WITH STRONG SUPPORT, CUSHION AS I AM 62 215 AND I DO A LOT OF RUNNING. I PLAY SINGLES AND DOUBLES AND THIS SHOE MEETS ALL MY NEEDS. SOLID ALL THE WAY AROUND.

Fourth pair purchased. Play 4 times a week and no foot problems when wearing this shoe. A little expensive and not the longest wearing but has kept me on the court which eases the pain of the cost. Had to switch from the Prince T22 when a seam started rubbing my little toe.

Excellent tennis shoe
This is my third pair of MC806s. I play tennis four days a week on average and have found this shoe offers great support, comfort and durability.
Not bad but not good
The 806 successfully improved over the 804 as far as tongue length but the 806 tongue folds in on the sides creating an uncomfortable feeling. It can be fixed by pushing it down with the shoes on and the laces loose but a hassle.
The 806s where very stiff out of the box. I considered returning them but decided to wear them around the house for a few days and they did loosen up a bit, problem solved.
They were incredibly stiff compared to the 804s and much narrower in a D width compared to the 804. After 3 weeks of playing twice per week in 4-4.5 doubles they are still really stiff.
Not bad and better than other brands but I will not buy again. I will go to a different model of NB which is annoying since I liked the 804 model prior to the last tongue issue.
