The racquet specs on the 2015 Wilson Blade 98 18x20 is 10.7 unstrung. I purchased two racquets and asked in notes if I could get two the at least weighed as close as possible to 10.7oz. Well, when they arrived..... one was 10.8 and one was 10.3. I now have two new racquet garnished with strips of lead tape all over in the attempt to have two balanced racquets. I love the blades, but wish the Wilson had some better Quality Control.

Excellent control, low power raquet, but...instant tennis elbow maker. Ive been playing tennis few times a week for the past 30 years. Even won some amatouer tournaments. I had tennis elbow few years ago. I cured it with an old Prince Original Graphite raquet stringed with multifilament strings. Dunlop Abzorber balls also helped. Since then i moved to Wilson Kfactor Blade and later on to Wilson Blade 104 BLX and newer Wilson Blade 104 2013 played by Williams sisters. No problems with elbow at all. I decided to demo Blade 98 18x20. I felt it was stiff stick from the beginning. After few hours of play instant tennis elbow at its worst. Inflamation of triceps, biceps anf forearm muscles. One month had passed and Im still unable to play. If you have elbow problems stay away from this raquet.

Blade 98 18 X 20
5/5
I recently demoed four racquets that were all inside my wheelhouse, I enjoyed this racquet from the first ball I hit. The blade has that traditional thin beam feel with a lot of added pop and crispness. The transaction with Tennis Express was smooth, I received my strung racquet the day after I ordered it which was nice, if I had purchased this in town it would have been highly unlikely that I would have gotten it the next day with my string and desired tension. Thanks Tommy Henry

Power and Control
5/5
I recently switched to the Wilson Blade after playing with the Juice for many years. The Blade has taken my level of play up a notch. It offers a great balance of power from the baseline and control at the net. I highly recommend this racquet!
