The Liquidmetal Radical comes pre-strung with Head Synthetic Gut 16g at 57lbs (mid-tension).

The revolution began with a new material never before used in modern racquet design: Liquidmetal. Head revolutionized the game of tennis once again. Liquidmetal technology changed the game in every respect with pure energy and perfect power.

Liquidmetal material is applied to four strategic areas of the Radical`s head and it is the only material that utilizes all the energy your swing generates. No energy is lost on ball impact due to its liquid atomic structure.

The Liquidmetal Radical Oversize has a strung weight of a little over 11 oz. and a 18x19 string pattern, making it one of the lighter advanced racquets on the market. For those looking for precise control without the heft, take a look at this frame. The larger headsize is 107 sq in. and yields a bit more power and lesser weight for easier access to mobility and maneuverability.

4/5
I received this racquet with a few days of ordering it and was very pleased with the performance. It came pre-strung, which was a first for me, but I found the strings to be well strung, at the recommended tension. The racquet is evenly balanced and does not come with a case. My club pro said it was an older model, but for the price I happy with the purchase and the service from Tennis Express. I will certainly use them again for my tennis needs.

Head Liquidmetal OS 107
5/5
Outstanding racquet. Soft, easy on the arm. Lower powered but NOT low powered, plenty of juice for winners. Amazing at the net, and the control is excellent. The only OS racquet I have found with the control of a 98 provided the rectangular Head grip is not a problem some people like the more squared Wilson or Yonex grips. This is an A+++ racquet!

Ive had my raquet almost a year and Im so pleased with its performance. I love to slice my backhand and this racquet gives me lots of control over the spin I put on the ball.

A Bit Heavy for Women

Im a fit 38 year old, 5'8, and this is my first tennis racquet. I did my research, but because I live overseas, I had to buy it sight-unseen. I really like this racquet, but the reason I give four out of five stars is because my tennis coach thinks its a bit too heavy for me. When I try to serve or slam, my elbow starts to hurt. He suggested letting my husband use this one and find one thats lighter.
