Tecnifibre Black Code 17g Strings

Description

Tecnifibre Black Code 17(1.24mm) provides more spin with slightly less durability than the 16 gauge version. Utilizing a co-polyester core, this string possesses excellent durability with greatly enhanced tension maintenance and feel. Black Code 17 features a pentagonal profile, helpful for generating more spin as the string bites into the ball better. The string uses Tecnifibre`s exclusive ThermoCore technology which serves two primary purposes. String-to-string friction is greatly reduced, enhancing durability and further promoting spin and ease of stringing. The ThermoCore technology also gives the string greater flexibility for more power and a softer feel. An excellent choice from all areas of the court with enhanced spin, good power, and a softer feel.

Construction: Extruded polyester monofilament

Color: Black

Gauge: 1.24 mm (17g)

Length: 12.2 m (40 ft)

Overall, these strings have been very tough. The feel isn't the greatest, but if you're a hard hitter and enjoy a fast pace on the ball, these strings are just for you.

A LOT OF POWER AND CONTROL
1.33333333333/5
I bought these strings to replace my Luxilon ALU Power Rough, because the Luxilon lost feel after a few hours. These strings are amazing. The reason why I bought the Black Code was because it can be put with the Pro Red Code or a Synthetic Gut for that Natural Gut like feeling. I decided to go with the Pro Red Code in the crosses and the Black Code in the Mains. I strung it at 58lbs on my Wilson BLX Tour 95 and it was AMAZING. The feel is still there and my power and depth is amazing. The string's durability is really high, it still hasn't broke yet. I also strung this with the Synthetic Gut and it was amazing too, but the durability on the Synthetic Gut was low and it didn't last long. Although, the BlackCODE stayed together. If you're looking for the feel, I recommend you put the Blackcode in the Mains and a Synthetic Gut in the Crosses. If you're looking for durability and power I recommend you put the Blackcode in the Mains and another Poly in the Crosses. Amazing Strings!

Tecnifibre makes a quality proven product. I use BiPhase in my crossed with Black Code in my mains....excellent combination for a responsive, controlled feel. I tried an RPM and Xcell combination and various others, and keep coming back to Tecnifibre.

Wanted to try something different, so switched from Kirschbaum Spiky Shark. Overall this is a very good string, it performs very well. Definately has a different feel than the Spiky Shark. One thing I noticed is when I play someone who hits with a lot of pace it seems to trampoline off the strings, so I was missing a lot of balls long. But playing someone with less pace, these performed great...I could easily and accurately generate a lot of pace. They feel very good. But, I think Ill stick with the Kirschbaum Spiky Shark..which to me is the best string Ive tried. The Spiky Sharks still allow you generate plenty of pace but you still have access to great control.

My son plays with Technifibre rackets and string and prefers this string over any other. He does usually like 18 gauge better than 17, but overall prefers the feel of the Black Code strings.

Excellent strings for heavy hitters. Offer just the right amount of power but still give you the chance to really feel the ball. One of the very few strings that I dont mind playing with until it breaks... other strings feel dead after a couple of hours.

This is simply the best string I have ever used. It lets me create a lot of spin with its pentagonal cross-sectional shape. It is very durable and lasts me months. Unlike other string, it really doesnt lose much tension over time. I plan on using this string as long as Technifibre makes it.

This might just be the best string! Ive used the Solinco and Signum Pro, both are good but I find Im much more consistent with the Black Code and the amount of spin put on the ball is CRAZY, especially my slice shots. I dont know if Ill find a better string.

Like this string a lot. Huge amount of spin, but easier on the arm than other similar strings. Lacks some power, but that seems to be the trade-off. Durability and tension maintenance has been very good.

I have used the Prince strings for 30 years with great results. A pro was watching my game and suggested the two new set of strings I ordered. Completely different from what I was using. Didnt think I could play better at this age, but the strings allowed for more topspin and more control. I love it. Sandy Arico
