For anyone that has ever wanted a serious control racquet with amazing feel, the updated Wilson BLX Blade Tour brings with it everything players loved in its predecessor along with new innovation. This racquet features the BLX technology, which utilizes Basalt fibers interwoven into the graphite matrix. The incorporation of the basalt fibers is designed to reduce unwanted frame vibration while not compromising the responsiveness and rigidity of the graphite. The BLX Blade Tour retains the Karophite Black material from the previous version, which ensured a solid response and high levels of control. Karophite Black is a method of crosslinking the layers of graphite for greater strength and rigidity for enhanced stability. The heavier weight, combined with the small headsize and dense 18x20 string pattern make sure that players know this is a demanding racquet with strong players in mind. The added stability and comfort is much appreciated in this update of a popular classic, making this frame more user friendly while still requiring solid technique and accuracy. Despite the hefty weight, the head light balance makes this racquet extremely nimble at net and allows plenty of racquet speed on groundstrokes as well.

Note: Wilson does not provide a cover with this racquet. Please check out our complete selection of Wilson Bags.

I have been using this racquet for a while now and I am really impressed with it. I switched from the Wilson K Blade 98. Here is how I feel on: Groundstrokes:the feel has dampened a bit. Its not as crisp as my KBlade, but feels somewhat like Head Racquets. Apart from that the racquet is really solid on groundstrokes. My partner told me that I was hitting the ball at a higher pace compared to my regular pace. The strokes were penetrating with an ample amount of spin and the racquet was rock solid from all areas of the court. The racquet is very arm-friendly and I never felt jarring vibrations in my arm. It is a midsize racquet but i never had any problem adjusting to this racquet. The control is simply superb and shots are laser like. Volleys: I loved volleying with this racquet. Its very solid on the net and very stable when hitting balls with a lot of pace.

This racquet started out great, but after hitting for about an hour or so I felt like the pace and power started to decrease. On serve I had to swing faster just to generate the same amount of kick I do with my Six One 95 racquet. When I volleyed with this racquet, I did feel like I had more control, placing my shots well.

I was looking for a replacement for my N-tour Pro for several years and came across this. It adds a couple tenths of an ounce in weight, has an even tighter string pattern more spin and is more rigid than the N-tour Pro. Overall, this racquet has unquestionably more power and all the accuracy of the Pro, I thought the Pro was rigid, but this is completely in-flexible - a little uncomfortable feeling at first, but then it produces faultless accuracy even on bail-out shots. Overall this a better and more demanding racquet and I find I can sculpt even more shots into impossible places where my opponents cannot return them.

I ordered some Blade BLX Tour racquets. The ordering was easy, we received the racquets when they were supposed to come. The racquets were just what we ordered. I was very pleased. I would order from Tennis Express again. FD Robbins

My 3rd BlX.......2012/2013/2014 all Wilson.teach and play 5 times a week..57 years old......This Blade tour is a bit bulky, not quite the finesse the other 2 years have....more power on the 1st serve but does not grab the ball on the topspin or slice as the last 2 years,.it was 55 off...maybe Wilson knew that!Honesty IS the best policy Bob Illingworth
