Babolat RPM Hurricane 17g Strings
Description
Babolat RPM Hurricane 17g Strings improve on the original Hurricane in almost every way. It plays firmer and with more control than the original, and improves in the durability department. Hurricane Tour has an octagonal profile to help grab the ball to generate top spin. Players who prefer a firmer feeling string bed with ample amounts of control and spin potential, are perfect candidates for Hurricane Tour. Hurricane is still used on the ATP and WTA tours.
RPM Hurricane is the same string as Pro Hurricane Tour, Only the name has changed.

Well, it could just be my bad luck, or a lack of proper QA from the manufacturer, but before I finished stringing it @58lbs on my Boris Becker Pro, it broke. And I don't think it had anything to do with damage during stringing, as I have done the string job so many times.

the pro hurricane 17g strings were perfect. My shots were more precise and sharp. I can feel and control every shot. Id recommend this string type for any tennis player that wants leverage and control.

Pro Hurricane Tour and Live Wire Together

Based on the recommendation of a club pro, I strung my racquet with a combination of Bobalot Pro Hurricane Tour and Gamma Live Wire. The combination provides strength and great action on the ball. The folks I usually play with are complaining that I am getting way more action on the ball--both in serves and in-play hits. Great string combination. And I seem to be able to hit harder with less effort--not sure how that happens, but Im pleased with these strings.

Pro Hurricane Tour 17 strings

These strings are great in a hybrid setup. I like them on the mains around mid tension with a softer string on the crosses. Good power, spin and durability for a 17 gauge. They are also good full bed, but lower the string tension a few pounds less that for a nylon synthetic gut.

I've been looking for a string that would last a bit longer than 2 weeks for my son's racket Wilson BLX 95 16x18 for quite sometime until he suggested to try this string. Since polyester is hard on the arm I had him strung it to the main frame at 55 lbs and used Gamma TNT2 RX 16g on cross at 53 lbs. I have notice more power on his shots and a lot more spin on the ball. He likes this hybrid set up and seems like it is soft enough that he never complain any elbow pain and the cross string dont break easy which last for a little over 3 wks.

First off looks great on aeropro drive. It has great spin but not as much as RPM. i got the 17 because i wanted a little more comfort. The stencil will come off with polyester but you cant really do anything about it. great lively feel. doesnt die out at all! great power and helps keeps shots spiny and deep from the baseline

Great string for babolat pure drive full bed @ 60lbs. It just does not get any better. If you have a pure drive try it. Not a hard poly on arm. Like it way better than rpm blast or comfort etc.
