Head’s popular Radical series, endorsed by Andy Murray, gets a new update that brings their Graphene technology to the lineup. Introduced last year on the Speed and Instinct lines, this new frame technology is now incorporated into the Radical series. Graphene, the world’s strongest and lightest material, has allowed Head to redistribute the frame’s weight for optimal handling and increased power. Advanced, aggressive hitters will find a lot to love in the Head YouTek Graphene Radical Pro. At 10.9oz (unstrung) the Pro is the heaviest model in the line, allowing it to hit a heavy ball and aggressively dictate from all areas of the court. The overall weight coupled with the way it is distributed by use of the Graphene also allows the racquet to be extremely stable feeling on contact. It retains a head light balance, allowing it to be highly maneuverable and easy to bring through the contact zone, despite the increased weight. The 98 square inch head size affords precision while still offering a bit of forgiveness. Head also incorporates their new Dynamic 16/19 string pattern. This pattern puts eight main strings into the heart of the frame, giving it the control of a tight string pattern while providing the spin and forgiveness of an open pattern racquet. Advanced players seeking a maneuverable frame with the ability to finish balls from anywhere on court will want to give the new Graphene Radical Pro a demo. The Pro is also available with an optional pro-player CAP grommet system for increased power and a unique feel.

Control racquet
5/5
Had a chance to hit with this racquet. It had great control and power. Didnt feel too stiff to me. Shots had smooth buttery feel when you hit the sweet spot. I guess stringing at 52 lbs helped with stiffness.

True Love

I am absolutely in love with this racquet. I changed to the Graphene Radical Pro about 2 months ago and would not go anywhere else. The racquet offers great control, stability, and power. I feel like I can get a great deal of pop on my shots and every ball I hit feels great. This racquet allows me to easily maneuver the ball from all areas of the court. Not only is the performance of the racquet incredible but it has a really cool new paint job too. This is by far the best racquet I have ever hit with.

excellent racquet!
5/5
This is very solid racquet with a more power than the typical players racquet. There is excellent access to topspin and slice. My serve, volleys, and ground strokes all improved with this frame. Touch shots and lobs required some adjustments due to the additional power of the racquet. Overall this racquet is definitely worth a demo for those looking for a players racquet with a little bit of pop

GRAPHENE RADICAL PRO

Switched to this racquet for nationals last month. Need more power after my shoulder surgeries. They performed great! A lot more power than my old Microgels without loss of control. Great racquet!

Great Racquet for todays game
5/5
I tried this demo with Solinco Tour Bite String. It performed well in all areas of the court especially at the baseline. It could use a little more weight at the head, but if you can generate your own pace you will like the all court racquet.

Very steady racquet
5/5
Ive settled on the Radical Pro after demoing probably a dozen racquets. Now after a month of playing with it I love it. I had some elbow problems and I wanted a racquet that has a bit of mass behind it but is still head-light enough to swing easily. This racquet works great. The impact with the ball feels solid and I can really place the ball where I want it. With most other racquets I would spray the ball more but this one has the stability to go where I want it. My game has definitely improved because I make fewer unforced errors. Im currently using Wilson NXT multifilament strings but in the future I might try a soft co-poly.

They Had IT
4/5
I ordered this from a big NY online dealer. A week went by and no raquets. Finally called them to find they were out of the item and would be for two more weeks. I was never informed. I was NOT happy. Called the Midwest online dealer and they were out too. Happily, TE had the racquets and I got them in a very quick turn around. Very good customer service. ONLY negative was that the racquets were sent loose in a racquet box. You could hear them rattling against each other. Luckily, and I say luckily, there was no damage. Shipping that way is not acceptable, especially for expensive racquets.
