Description

One of the most arm friendly racquets on the market, the Pro Kennex Kinetic Pro 5G features the technology that is widely regarded for its ability to mitigate tennis elbow. Studied extensively at MIT, the Kinetic system, a material housed in 100 chambers around the racquet head, actively reacts and moves during the tennis swing. In action, the kinetic material moves towards the trailing edge during the swing, and then jumps forward during the impact phase, essentially providing extra weight at impact. The increased stability and power from this motion also helps to provide one of the absolute best methods of fighting tennis elbow, as the kinetic material is able to greatly absorb both shock and vibration by being allowed to freely move. The Kinetic Pro 5G is an excellent racquet combining comfort, control, and power. Weighing in at a moderate 11.1 ounces unstrung, this racquet provides plenty of heft for stronger players, while the midplus headsize and head light balance provide a bit of extra pop and maneuverability. As one of the most control oriented of the Kinetic line, the thinner beam offers tremendous feel despite the extremely comfortable impact. A versatile all around racquet, this one is recommended for solid intermediate to advanced players with medium to longer swings searching for comfort without sacrificing playability.

I tried the 5g due to problems with tennis elbow. I am 3.5-4.0 and play 3-4 times per week. Had been using Wilson KFactor 90 which was stiff, but featured the control that I was after. Unfortunately it was like hitting with a board and my elbow suffered after several months. Now after playing with the 5G my elbow is fine and doesn't require a brace during play or ice afterwards. I do like the feel, weight and control of the 5G and have continued to try other racquets, but like the 5G better than any other racquet so far.

I've always played with the old/new Wilson n-k-blx90 for control, but it killed my elbow. Now I'm playing with the 5G because it's elbow friendly.

I purchased this racquet after extensive research. I have been experiencing some elbow and shoulder issues after playing. I'm also not vey happy with the racquets I have been playing with. I demoed several racquets from a local shop and was not happy with them either. I like the reviews I was seeing on the Pro Kennex 5G and decided to try it. Because it is an older model, I couldn't find any to demo and since the price was only $119, I decided to order one. I have been very pleased with how it has played. I have seen some consistency come back into my game. So far, no I have not had any issues with my elbow and shoulder. I have since ordered a second one.

Feels Heavier but definitely good for your tennis elbow

I started playing tennis with a cheap raquet from walmart and paid the price. Only after a few weeks of playing i started having pain in my right elbow and it only started getting worse. After doing some research, chatting with customer service people at tennis express, i decided to go with this raquet which was the right decision. This raquet is a little heavier, not so good for service but great for backhand and ok for forehand shots with no or very little vibrations. my pain has subsided after playing with this raquet. i recommend this for anyone with tennis elbow issues.

I have purchased 2 racquets in the past thirty days from you. Both have arrived in a very timely manner and both were strung with excellent string. My favorite is the ashaway zyex mono gut. You guys are quick and professional and most importantly your prices are competitive or better than anywhere else i looked.

I purchased this racquet after reading about its vibration dampening ability and its kindness to tennis elbows. Ive used it about a month and can say there is certainly less vibration and feels better to the elbow. Well see how it performs long-term, but so far very happy.

Years ago I had tennis elbow and read online about this racquet being good for that. I got one about 12 years ago and have never had tennis elbow again. I just got another with a smaller grip. It is wonderful, I have it strung a bit on the looser side for good control.

Overall, it is ok. My tennis elbow seems no happening to me after playing. One thing I want to mention that the head of racquet is little bit small, I do not know why. It should be 100 already. Thats why when I hit the ball, I need to look at the ball. I install Wilson natural string, it is very powerful when I serve the ball. I do not need to put too much power from my arm then the ball goes fast.

So I had not played tennis on a regular basis for 15 years. I was using my same racquet, a Head Ti series, when I started this spring to play 2 or 3 times a week and did so all through summer. I developed tennis elbow pain halfway through the summer, as I had several stretches of playing 2 or 3 out of 4 days in a row. My tennis elbow became severe. I started doing research and found a great web site that has a dedicated section on tennis elbow. What they said made sense to me, that it is almost certain that my racquet is the cause. I picked this racquet from a list of arm friendly racquets they suggest. I must point out that I took 3 weeks off only, resting my elbow, but still had a lot of pain, when I received this new racquet. I began playing once on the weekends and my elbow pain did not get worse, and over the course of the month I have now had the racquet my elbow got better and better. I then started playing 2 times a week, usually Saturday and then Sunday, and in spite
