In continued cooperation with renowned applied research facility, Fraunhofer Institute, the new Volkl Organix 4 is the successor to the popular 4 series, combining power, stability, comfort and maneuverability. With an oversized head, and extended length, this update provides good power, while retaining classic Volkl comfort. Numerous changes have been made from the previous PowerBridge 4, with the most significant being the addition of the Organix material. This material utilizes the carbon nanotubes from the DNX lines with a cellulose additive, which provides both stability and comfort.  The Organix 4 features a new system of visual cues called the Optispot system, which uses contrasting colors along the inside hoop area of the frame. The idea behind this is that contrasting color ensures that one focuses on the difference, forcing the eyes to focus at the intersection, in the center of the stringbed, which results in more shots hit in the sweetspot. The popular Sensor handle system has been replaced by the Bio Sensor system. Offering 15% more dampening than the Sensor Tour system, the Bio handle is designed after the mass dampener pendulum design that provides protections for skyscrapes during hurricanes and earthquakes. By adding a weighted pin to the end of the handle, a counter vibration is created, effectively decreasing the strength of the incoming shock. Designed for players wanting an extended length racquet with excellent power and stability without sacrificing comfort, the versatile Organix 4 will perform best in the hands of players with moderate swing speeds.

Great racquet
5/5
I love this racquet. I was playing with pretty consistent arm pain until a friend recommended trying Volkls by saying they were arm friendly. And inded this racquet has allowed me to play pain-free with out scarificing any performance. At first I was worried about its light wieght, but that has not been an issue. Its very stable and manueverable and still delivers a buttery smooth feeling. It has a generous sweet spot, ample power and generates a great deal of spin easily. Two areas of noticeable improvement are net play and serves. I also tried the Organix 6 and 8 too. Liked the 8 - lots of pop, didnt love the 6 for some reason. Im happy with this one and will likely buy another soon.

Volkl 4
4/5
I have had this racquet for a month. It swings fast and true. I am a 4.0 looking for more power and consistency. This racquet has proven itself aganst top servers all the way to 120 mph serves and sent it all back. i played with smaller headed racquets that caused my wrist, arm, and shoulder pain. The Volkl has erased those problems. Enjoying playing again.

I really like this racquet.....very forgiving on the tennis elbow....plenty of power and alot of spin on the ball with my backhand. The oversize head is a plus for me....and the light weight produces alot of racquet speed......nice

Great Racquet
5/5
I have only been playing tennis for four months now. That being said, my NTRP rating is 4.0. I hit a lot of racquets and am very glad I bought the Volkl Organix 4. I played my first match with it today without any practice session to get used to the racquet. I won easily 6-3,6-1. To me, this racquet does everything well. It has ample controllable power. It feels very stable on return serve, nice pop on volleys and when needed enough power to put away a winner. I really liked that I could still take an aggressive swing and not have the ball sail on me. I HIGHLY recommend this racquet to anyone that is looking for a forgiving frame that as I mentioned before has controllable power. I have it strung with Technifibre NRG2 at 53lbs.

Over all a good racquet
4/5
Overall a good racquet, I do feel the flex a bit more and the racquet torques at times when I receive a heavy ball and mistime it a bit. I love the pop on my serves and easy at the net. Ground rallies are good but I find the racquet has too much power so I end up hitting long a bit more than usual. Overall a great racquet, I have never used anything but Wilson so this is a change and the racquet is too light compared to my older racquets. All the raving about the easy on the arm stuff is possibly not true, I was looking to replace my racquet because of a bad case of tennis elbow. I have been stretching and doing the exercises for about a month and did not play during that period. Started after the break with this racquet and my tennis elbow is back so I do not think Volkls which have got a lot of fame for being easy on the arm is essentially true, the racquet is just too light but I do not think the handle manages shock well esp. when the ball is m

Volkl Cant be Beat
5/5
The weather here in Canton, Ohio, during the latter part of April and now May has not been the best for outdoor tennis. However, I have managed to squeeze in about five doubles matches, and I must say the racquet has performed magnificently. In fact, the other Volkl racquet that I have been using for about ten years now has been relegated to back-up duty. My new Organix is light enough that I can volley and serve effortlessly and yet it has enough power that ground strokes have enough sting that I can get balls by net people with ease. Also I have noticed much more spin on lightly struck shots. All-in-all I am extremely pleased with the racquets performance and would highly recommend it for someone like me that finds racquets in the ll or 12 ounce range just too heavy to maneuver. At your sale price of $119 this was a steal!
