The new Wilson BLX Khamsin-Five, the successor to the popular K-Five, combines a number of new and old features to create a unique frame to appeal to a broad range of players.  The most significant upgrade to the previous model is the inclusion of the new BLX technology, which combines three features in this model. The important Basalt fibers added into the graphite matrix enhance the feel at contact by reducing frame vibration playing a key role in all models in the BLX Family.  The BLX Khamsin-Five features a head heavy balance for stability and power from the baseline. The FX throat basically splits the frame to act as a quad shaft model, which effectively resists twisting, leading to greater torsional stability on off center shots.  The frame also features the classic Triad technology, which separates the head and throat of the racquet, connecting them using an Isozorb material between the two. This greatly reduces the shock that reaches the players arm, making the BLX Khamsin-Five one of the best Wilson frames for players with tennis elbow. This racquet also features the new Articulated Grommet Technology, which increases the freedom of movement in the stringbed, resulting in an increased sweetspot and greater comfort. Designed for comfort and forgiveness, the Khamsin-Five is sure to be popular for the medium swing crowd looking for a solid frame loaded with technology to protect their game.

I am so excited at how easily I adapted to my new racquets. I really appreciate the help from your staff in deciding what racquets to demo by comparing my former Wilson racquet to the new technology. I played in my first tournament with the new racquets this past weekend and it felt great. In a week I am headed to Sr Mixed Nationals with my team and new racquets can't wait!! Thanks.

Great Racquet

I have been looking for a racquet to replace my Triad 5.0 for 2 years. I am pleased to say this was a perfect replacement. With the Triad technology, the dampening system helps any issues in my shoulder and elbow I have had from the other racquets I have tried. Great feel and power for those club players, like me, who are trying to wrangle the control that tends to get out of hand at times. Love, love, LOVE this racquet...

Love, love, love this racquet! Tried several other racquets, but when it only took playing with this one once and I knew it was the right racquet for me. Great control and power.

Wilson Khamsin Five
5/5
This racket gave me a great amount of power which I lacked with many other rackets. I was able to get my balls farther in the court when I wanted something I had difficulty with as my swings are a little bit short. Volleying with this racket was easy due to its oversized head. I enjoyed this racket and believe it is one of the best oversized rackets out there.

This racquet has plenty of power, lots of comfort for people with tennis elbow, light-weight and flexible even at the net. I needed a little help with my put away shots and this racquet delivers. It is worth the extra money.

Wilson BLX Khamsin-Five
5/5
Purchased this racquet for a 10 yr. old girl, 411, 74 pounds. She needed something with both control and some additional power for baseline shots and serves. We also wanted a racquet that was light enough and easy on her arm. This racquet delivered: 1 better serves great control and some added power, 2 easy on the arm, 3 ability to hit more powerful, deeper baseline shots, 4 overall lightness in weight w/a little Head-Heavy, improved her ground strokes/swing-through, and is still very maneuverable at the net. She is very pleased w/this purchase, was worth the money.
