Featuring similar construction techniques, Ashaway uses a more elastic material to offer additional comfort for players of all styles. An abrasion resistant coating on this synthetic gut resists notching in order to increase the durability. The result is a string that plays well from all areas of the court and combines the tension maintenance and durability of a solid core with a softer feel. The higher gauge provides increased feel while slightly decreasing durability.
